There are many young mothers in India work day and night .Sacrificing their own happiness for their children.Mira is just a young girl who married a star and live easy life.No grudges against her but she doesnt deserve any compliment for being a young mother.Many more hard working women are struggling in India just to provide easy lives for their children.Find those kinda women and respect them.
My mother is a housewife too, I have seen her struggle to keep the house running even though she doesn't work outside but she is the one who has the busiest day with no time for herself . Being a indian housewife is hard , being a working women too is hard too. Rearing children is hard working outside out not. Everyone in comments seem to demean and dismiss housewifes . Where is empowerment lol?

You can't compare her motherhood with other mothers. She probably has 10 maids taking care of the baby 20 hrs of the day, and she and Shahid play with her only 4 hrs which is obviously fun. Let her go in an isolated place with just baby without any help then she can tell how other mothers should be.

Ya thats what i meant there are numerous mothers who got married early and they are doing there job quite well when celebs or there wife do anything like that it becomes news talwe chatne lag jate hai log. Aur hadd to tab hoti hai jab isspe koi aawaz uthata hai to usse pseudo feminism ka tag laga diya jata hai. Koi paidal mandir jaaye to jaise kitna bada kaam kar liya ho jabki India me aaye din log mannat puri hone par lete huye roll kar kar ke kitne door door tak jate hai bhagwan ke darshan ke liye unhe koi nehi puchta....

Mira is put on a pedestal only because she is married to a Bollywood actor. She does not have anything to offer other than being a mother, which is a tough job. However there are plenty of hard-working moms who are balancing their careers and family. If this interviewer wants to be taken seriously she should invite those moms on her show instead of extolling a glorified wannabe celebrity.

I used to love Shahid earlier but now I find him too regressive. All he wanted in a wife was someone who'd stay at home, not act, cook for him, and bear him a kid because he was old enough to have one. Mira married him after meeting him just two-three times. Within three months she 'accidentally' fell pregnant. Maybe she decided to keep the baby because of Shahid's and families' pressures or maybe she wanted to control Shahid in a way. She wasn't ready for motherhood at 22! And now thanks to stupid MissMalini she's made poster face for young women!! Lol! In India 80% of the women fall pregnant for the first time before the age of 21. Stop making Mira a revolutionary!
