Laura, I recently knit a hair scrunchie for my daughter using leftover sock yarn….I think I cast on a hundred stitches on a size 3.25mm DPN…knit in the round for four inches or so then closed it around a hair rubber band by binding off the two ends together….worked well and very cute!!! Gee whiz, I must have enough leftover yarn for hundreds of these babies!🤣🤣🤣🤣….most excellent vlog today…thank you!
I just love coming in from work to look at my phone and see you have posted a new vlog. I hurry up the dinner so I can sit down with a hot drink and enjoy watching it. Lots of love 😘
Ok... do I really need another knitting podcast? Probably not.... but the wanna be grandmother in me just could not resist your opening! So cute and cosy... so here I am 😊. Your little ones are precious ❤.... (and I love your patterns too!)
So fun you get to do that little talk for your sons class! Very curious how it goes! I know my kids are so used to me making stuff that it's completely normal for them, but their friends are always very interested..
Sending extra hugs to Jeffrey! Thanks for sharing more about you! Thanks for sharing about the books. I added the German book to get my hubby for Christmas!
I realized whilst watching your blog today that your vlogs are really the only ones I enjoy watching. Your aesthetics are always so enjoyable (happy or soothing), and I also enjoy your chatty bits. Thank you for sharing a few days with us! (Also, your wedding dress looks stunning! I’m excited to see the cardigan with it if it works out.)
I love the joyful attitudes you so openly share with us. Im so glad you have found a therapist that you like and trust.I really wish I was one of your neighbors. Penny is just too, too cute! She carried that witch costume like she owned it! Please hug Jeffrey for all of us. I so enjoy your videos and vlogs.
Another fantastic vlog , love that your going to your sons school to do a talk on wool , stepping out of your comfort , we should all do more of that 🌟
The days that I watch your content are always better days! I’m subscribing to your patreon now to enjoy more of your vlogs. I love seeing your knitwear designs but most of all I find it so validating and wonderful to hear about your mental health & chronic disease as someone who also struggles with both. Sending so much love 💗
Hi Laura! thank you for taking us with you during your day, it's always fun to see the behind the scenes. It's great that you're gonna do the talk to Jeff's class, I bet the kids will have a very good time🤩 Best of luck for your cardigan as well, the swatch really looks gorgeous and very promising so I'm sure you'll come up with something nice, as always. Till the next one, bye!😘
Thank you for this lovely vlog. I hope that your dad and brother in law liked their books. The vegetarian book is so pretty and I like the idea that the food lover book has poems in it. 🤩 Penny’s Halloween costume is adorable! And wow you can speak about wool in front of an audience! 🤗 Please tell us how that went. Have a lovely week! 🧶🍵🍂
So lovely to have something comforting during the really rubbish times and rough parts of life. Thank you for sharing, really appreciated now more than ever ❤
Lovely vlog Laura. Funny cos as you were initially talking about ideas for a black cardi, I was saying to the screen, you could so easily design one I'm sure 😂😂 Such nice news that you'll get to do a little yarn presentation. Love it. Pls let us know how it goes 💕
I really recommend The Happy Pear podcast (writers of your brother in laws book) , they’re fabulous twins who do self care and community care, amazing force of positivity. Treat yourself to a cast on , a wedding is so worth channelling your energy.
I am!! The focus is ‘materials’ so I think showing the processing from fibre to sweater and how it happens will fill the brief! I’m so nervous but Jeff is so excited ☺️

That Brussel sprout and bacon pasta looked delicious, and your cushion is super cute. I love the slipover too.
Thanks for sharing your days with me as I knit. I've been suffering burnout and knitting is my self care. You are being very brave. Thanks👩🌾👩🌾👩🌾
Those precious babies of yours! I always enjoy watching your podcasts 🤗

Oooh that sounds amazing thank you!

Wow what a fun presentation for Jeff's class!! Are you going to bring it your spindle and some roving to show how wool -> yarn -> swatch-> sweater?
I am!! The focus is ‘materials’ so I think showing the processing from fibre to sweater and how it happens will fill the brief! I’m so nervous but Jeff is so excited ☺️
@@_laurapenrose_ I bet he is!! Those kids are very lucky :)

Lovely vlog, as always! Is that a milk frother that you use at the end to make the hot chocolate? It's so pretty.
It the velvetiser from hotel Chocolat, my mum got it for me for my birthday! X
No pressure… but if you ever did a food blog… I wouldn’t be mad!😂😜💕😋
I’m hoping to do more foodie content during vlogmas for sure!! I’m already planning the baking 🤣
@@_laurapenrose_ YUM!!!! I want all your Ramen and Brussels recipes!!😋😂💕
Hope you film the talk to your son’s class. Good luck and have fun with it!
You are allowed to film in schools I’m afraid x
What did you make for dinner? Looked interesting!
In this video I made a chicken, bacon and Brussels sprout creamy pasta, and left over bolognaise with gnocchi x
