If you don't care about the treasure chests, Herc + his bond CE can solo most of grail front stages easily. Imagine this boss Herc as playable unit... You won't need any support anymore. Just burn your Castoria and Vitch. Lore Accurate Herc will destroy every stages by himself lol.
We fought the actual Vritra, historically accurate Hektor, Biblically accurate Heracles and Conqueror og Darius. Now we only need the historically accurate Billy with NP spam per turn and crit dmg
You could potentially solo this as well, though you need to setup quite heavily (Dantes stunlock won’t work, since he remove his debuff each time his gut proc)
Tbh all the hard things always turn out less hard when they come to NA. I remember everyone hyping up Cernunos as hard fight just for me to beat it first try with NP4 MHXX.
You do realize mhxx is a hard counter to cernunnos in general for reasons I dont have to state, for people with less developee accounts certain fights do be a nightmare @Zeon081
I used the Aoko Gogh Castoria team, and while Gohg can't land the Terror debuff on Herc they managed to breeze through most of the labors buffs/debuffs, though I didn't get to finish Herc up before the battle ends
Oh stuff does happen if you bring Emiya or Chiron but not Saber Lily. That actually makes me sad they reference the Emiya vs Heracles fight but not Caliburn taking off like 7 lives in one hit. ;-;

he has a self buff that reduces defensive buff duration when attacking so you have to be a bit careful but yes, you can just stall 12 turns and win with relative ease
It should be able to just be prepared for the buff removal + buff block that happens on one of the labors. The buff block is only 2 times 3 turns so you can just use the atk up or NP gains to get rid of it.
