No actually nah. The galay you wear that is same with us but that is use like saree in mising tribe. In earlier time we also use wear like you all. But our mising people take the formation of wearing galay like to Assamese people ( saree). Our mising people attracted to wear like them. that's the fault of us.

I heard this one when sone friend of mine took me to see the Miss Solung peagent. Though I couldn’t understand the words but was instantly fascinated by this song. The rhythm is so captivating and enchanting. I asked around but couldn’t get the name! And today I found it. ❤❤❤ This is magnificent.

Isnt your lyrics contradictory to your own culture? So should the culture and practice be banned ? These practice you have mentioned in the song are the core values what makes tribal categorical from rest of the indians. Unless family force you to marry someone, I dont find it wrong offering squirrel and meats in marriage ceremony. Since adi community is very advanced , i dont think forceful marriage currently exist in their community anymore. Love your voice. Dont take this comment otherwise as patriarchal mindset, just felt confusion whether you are in consistent with your tribal practice or not.
Just think of it as a documented video of what use to happen in olden days. The lyrics is from someone (not meenam) of that generation, she just expressed a part of her emotion (which maybe she experienced and felt during her youth days) in words. And what meenam did is just converted those words into melody and an amazing cinematography.
