Hi Victoria, Congratulations for your new gig. Is Cleveland clinic providing the housing facility ? I am in the middle of recruiting process. Not very sure about the salary package at Cleveland, are they good or bad i mean.

      Hi Mohd,
Thanks for reaching out ...actually I'm hoping to get an offer letter from them by the end of this week...I'm a Speech Pathologist and made it thru HR so far!. I'm certain they will give money toward a housing allowance. CCAD does have a housing campus ,but I believe it's more for physicians and it's like a dormitory type of housing with a common living space area. I'm looking at Al Reem Island area in Abu Dhabi which is close to the hospital actually. I think their salaries for therapists are competitive to the USA, but they may pay monthly, I'm unsure at this point. So are you a therapist, nurse or someone in the medical field? Are you in the states or UAE? Nice to hear from you ...hope to stay in touch and best wishes to you as well!

Thanks Victoria for the response. I am currently being interviewed for Continuous Improvement manager position. You might be aware of, CCAD is deeply into Lean & Six Sigma for improving patient satisfaction. Well that's what i do.. Help improve the processes :) I am from India and expecting positive outcome from the interview. Meanwhile i have sent you the google hangout invite. All the best to you !!

      Hi Victoria,
Are you in CCAD now? I just being recruited as well. I am curious about the CCAD accomodation. Did you manage to look for any accomodation on ur own?

Informative video! It seems that it would be preferable to get an employment contract with housing (allowance) included. A year's rent upfront is a hefty cost.
It would be great to see the Dubai version of this video and to learn about leasing/buying cars in UAE also. Luv the new ride too! Cheers!

Hi I just came across your channel, it's been very informative so far. The reason I found you is because my mum just got offered a job as a nurse in Abu Dhabi and starts in a couple of months. From what you said about Abu Dhabi, it seems it's very expensive to live there. Although I'm happy for my mum and I think this might be the break she needs. I just don't want her to make a mistake. she is moving out there with my little sister who's 12. They've said that her accommodation would be paid for and will provide her with a house which is fully furnished schooling for my sister paid for. So she doesn't have to
Worry about those things. And they also
Mentioned something about food but she doesn't really understand that part. Anyway she told me what her monthly salary would be and it sounded amazing. I wanted to ask you how much you think she would need to live on taking into account the prepaid expenses I mentioned earlier. I would really appreciate your insight on this as I love my mum of course and care about her. and I love your honesty and you seem very knowledgable. Thanks :-)

your information really helped, we are planning our move to AD this year in summers. The confusion is, my kids school is BISAD and my husbands office in ADNOC is in ALbateen area. And we prefer a villa. So which area do you think will approximately fall in the middle of both , preference being the school. budget is not a problem, as the rent is company paid and the limit is quite high ..please guide :)

WOW, I wonder what the homeless rate is there? Sounds like if you cant supply the wedge upfront, your pretty much fucked

Locals are provided housing if they can't afford. Those that come to the UAE to work must have a job. Once they loose their job they've got to leave the country. I've never seen anyone whose homeless here in 4 years
