I can not express how happy I am that Andrews loss of Gwen has shaped him as Spider-Man. Not in a bad way but in a with great power comes great responsibility way. He was used perfectly in the film I want more Garfield and Toby!!!
I think it's really cool to see how human he is in No Way Home too. He explains that he was put in a really dark place even after still choosing to be Spider-Man. He just wasn't the same when Gwen was around. I'm assuming he killed someone in his world because of this loss. He's still grieving. This is also why I want The Amazing Spider-Man 3. I wanna see this darker version of Spider-Man, and Peter Parker. It would be so interesting if the third film went really deep into his pain and suffering.
He's for sure suffered the most personal and emotional loss. His parents left him so early and we get to see how that changed him growing up. He lost his Uncle Ben, the real father figure in his life, because of HIS decision. If he didn't get angry and leave the house, have him look for Peter, and then let the guy go, nothing would have happened to Ben. He felt so guilty for that he went out for vengeance. He lost Curt Connors to a formula that HE gave him. He created the lizard that eventually killed his lovers father. Her father has been haunting him because he knows that he's right, that Gwen will end up in a bad situation. He lost his childhood friend because he wants to save him. Then that same friend was the reason why the love of his life passed away. He's had the worst life out of the three, and it's so painful to see that he's still struggling through that grief even 7 years later. I get people think Tom lost the most, which he did lose everything. He has no personal connections and Peter Parker basically doesn't even exist. That's depressing. But he knew it was the right choice to do, he knew he had to. He sacrificed everything for the greater good. However it just doesn't feel as impactful as Andrew's Peter. His pain and his grief, this tortured Peter Parker feels like what everyone feels like at one point. You can feel everything this man feels. And that cuts so much deeper in my opinion. Andrews performance is the most human , relatable and realistic Peter put on screen.
I felt so sad that he loss Gwen and when he came back to Spiderman no way home he felt so sad and broken all the time but still with the pain he got humor and is still trying to move on and he had nobody,diffrent than tobey's peter and tom, and when he saved tom's mj we can feel like he needed that and when he hold his tears when mj asked he was okay we could notice he was not but still being strong
It's so overwhelming to see that Andrew's Peter has still not moved on from her death and still blames himself for that. When Tobey like a big brother gave him the advice to not give up and persue love again, it just hit differently. Like it's high time that Andrew's Peter as well as for us to move on from Gwen's passing away. She's gone now and that's sad. But this is a part of character development. They can still show Andrew's Peter move on with the MJ of his universe, just like something that happened in comics. It would be so nice and encouraging to see a character move on, develop and overcome himself from such a loss and finally becoming happy in life.
If she was the love of his life on Andrew Peter …she stays with him ♾, Peter will never get over it, that was his love of heart, he takes her with her. That kind love is part of you& when u lose a love like that it never gone, you learn to love with it, the pain will always come and go u just learn live that loss and keep her memory alive in way that will honor her. F course it MJ comes back she will have to understand Gwen was his lost love that he will never unlove her or remember her. MJ can stay or leave tho but I doubt it they probably can bring her back Gwen since all villiasn are not dead and Peter sees Gwen again and how emotionally he will would be
I feel like the trauma of what happened to Gwen would make it impossible to not expect a tragic outcome for a future love interest. He and Gwen did everything right. He was honest to her about what he was going through every step of the way, he tried desperately to keep her safe, she had a point about him needing her help since they stopped Electro and the Lizard together (without her the people infected by the Lizard serum would have killed people and Electro would have caused 2 planes to crash into each other), but there was nothing at all he could have done to prevent Harry coming out of nowhere and killing Gwen. I think that if his Mary Jane were to show up it would be impossible for him to fully just be in love without the reminder of how traumatizing that loss was.

He stayed a genuinely good person, despite the loss. And Spider-Man's story is all about carrying on despite that loss. A loss that would've broken a weaker spirit.

There is a possibility if there will be an asm3 she will be alive because of the timeline the villains were put back in their own universe, so there is hope
