The biggest lesson I've taken from this is never take another man's darts without permission. The cameraman was absolutely fuming, and i can't blame him😂
My biggest tip would be practice lots of different things, don't just throw at the treble 20 trying to get big scores, this won't improve your game at all in the long run
I wonder how you can stop drifting the dart and landing in the 5 all the time? think mardle should be the answer!!! nah but seriously how do you stop drifting the dart in to the 5? I'm not moving my shoulder at all, it's straight but it drifts into the 5 and it's quite frustrating
***** Position yourself straight with the T20 or the 20 in general. Make sure when you release, you are pointing for the 20 or T20. Even the pro's hit T5 and T1 at times so don't get too mad about this. I have been playing for more than 5 months now, and I already have enrolled into AA tournaments and possibly might shoot for Masters by the time i'm 17. What I can say is make sure your not shooting from an angle, because otherwise your darts will drift towards the number intended by physics (not by you).

Absolutely smack on. Lessons are nothing more than pontification's of a top player turned coach (usually ex-pro and their interpretation and memories of what they used to do. In most cases they are habitually wrong. You only ever hear about the minuscule few that have been fortunately helped, omitting the thousands that were not. They only turned to coaching (or commentating) in the first place because they couldn't do whatever they were famed for. Basically they are liars and charlatans. Nothing more to be said about these scoundrels!
Exception? Most top players in the modern era turn their foot in and lean forward to get closer to the board, not just Taylor. Adrian Lewis does, James Wade, Van Barneveld, Van Gerwen, Peter Wright, Dave Chisnall Robert Thornton, Huybrechts... That's almost the whole top 10 or so except Anderson...
I would like to see the pro competitions move back to an 8 foot throw. It is obviously too easy to get big scores from throwing this close, and more of a challenge for the better players. I remember when the 7.6 throw came out in the super leagues many years ago some players were saying what a great throw it was. It just made ordinary players better scorers. They didnt like it when the throw went to the current one. Some actually complained! personaly I always stand slightly behind the mark, with a slightly angled stance. It feels more comfortable. There is nothing to gain by standing over the line. You are only cheating yourself. As for the darts and grip and stance, a dart must be comfortable in your hand, you must be comfortable standing and you must adjust your grip or change the setup of your dart (weight, length of shaft etc)to allow the dart to fly without any wobble. You may find that standing a little further back allows your dart to stick in a little straighter.
Mr Harrington resorts to visual subliminality here, he displays a Parabola approach (most people will not realise it's been proffered), but will ape it! MVG, G Anderson and most of the top Dartists use a linear delivery. History proves that very few Parabola players have won anything to speak of! He also mentions a grip again. Whereas a nestle is a far adroit expression. Funny how the old English for nesle is Nestilian and the Dutch equivalent is Nestelen. He is completely correct when he says that "Judie"? has a good throw. In fact "Judie"? does something that Mr Harrington used to be able to do, but can't do now. Poetic justice maybe?
My darts nickname is '26" for a reason. Bang in a 20 followed by a 5 and a 1, way too much shoulder action.

Simply aim, keep everything in line, throw consistently at right speed and trajectory, then you will always win.
I always wondered why i trow so much 20,20,5...20,20,5...So my shoulder is moving to the left...keep that in mind...thanks for the tip.
And remember: when playing with an amateur, always wear a pillow on your back; or, you may get a dart in the butt...[LOL]

It's not a hook, it's a pull. If you're right handed try standing a bit more over to the left & try to hit the wire separating the T20 & T1. Goodluck.

I like to copy adrian and mvg i get through 3 darts in 3 seconds, spray a lot -.-
