Love Kentucky & not sure how long it's going to stay a secret. I have a place in western KY and see people going down 24 and tell'em to keep driving south! LOL I'm glad KY is getting love and its inevitable with all her beauty that folks are going to discover her.

I'm from WA and the homeless population just keeps growing. I'm going to leave for Kentucky soon. I live in the California cost of living with no Sun or Palm trees and I'm sick of it .

I live in Sacramento, California, and the cost of living is getting outrageous. Gas costs $5.49 a gallon in my area. I’m looking at states like Kentucky for that slower pace, southern hospitality, small-town feel, and some open space. Are there good areas around Louisville that are good? I work for Southwest Airlines, so I would be commuting to the airport there. I really like the idea of a smaller town, within reasonable distance of a bigger city.

Yeah, gas out there is much higher! It’s around $3.20 here. Might consider Bowling Green or Franklin and travel to the Nashville airport. Just something to look into. Definitely a more small-town connected feel in South Central KY.

Sucks my family and I will never afford to buy a house it Kentucky because the cost of homes are rising so fast
