- Before I cross over into 2023, there is one last video I can belt out that doesn't take too much energy to make. It's nowhere near perfect, but this size comparison video gives you a general idea of how big or (usually) small the playable aircraft in AC7 are when put next to the reference, the ADF-11F (uncontestably the largest playable unmodded aircraft in Skies Unknown). I wish you all a happy new year, and I hope you all grow beyond the person you were yesteryear.
Aircraft appearance order is based on their listing in the hangar. Modelswaps order is based on their publication date on NexusMods.

It's funny because I've been next to an F-5 IRL and those things are bigger than you imagine. Going by this the Raven is probably the size of a small airliner.
A blueprint sheet in Ace Combat 7 says it’s 95 feet long. big lad

As someone who's been next to both a F-5E and inside a C-130 I agree that the raven looks absolutely massive.
29m is about the size of regional jet.
Weird how those Super planes are nimble and fast as hell despite having 2 or 3 times the size of those normal planes and yes, it's a strangreal but still it still come as a suprising fact
Most super manouverable planes tend to be bigger than their counterparts.
A good exemple of this is comparing the schematics of a Flanker vs. a F-15, the Flanker is a tad bigger and has more surface area.
The only plane I think it shouldn't be as manouverable as it is is the ADA-01 Adler because it has such big wings that it would probably impact on its roll, turn rate and turn radius.

I honestly love that the PW-Mk.1 is an honorary addition to the Ace Combat super plane rostee
Let's not forget that the front half of the raven by itself can be its own aircraft. The ADF-11 on its own is just a bit smaller than most super planes.

Eh, I wish the F-5E, F-20A, X-29A, MiG-1.44, ATD-0, J35J Draken, Su-27, Su-24, Su-25TM, F-15SE, Tornado, F-35A and the F-35B are back in Ace Combat...
It would be better if the Su-27 is an NPC like Assault Horizon tho
Hopefully in ace combat 8 (technically 9 in terms of main line series games but whatever this is just pendantic ranting) they will give us a nicer variety of aircraft old and new alike

These plane i believe bigger than raven :
Fenrir (spesific size is unknown)
Adler (spesific size is unknown)
R-352 length: 30,16m weight: 60,280kg
UI-4054, length: 30,36m weight: 60,100kg
RF-12A2, length: 31,65m weight: 78,020kg
R-352 is a frickkin spacecraft, of course it is bigger than raven
Wingspan of Adler is much wider than Raven, but it still gets dwarfed in terms of length and overall height
Among all planes only the XFA-33 Fenrir is second biggest to ADF-11F.
Not even the SR-71 Black Bird can match the size of those 2.
The ADF-11 it self is 2 aircraft in one, the whole body itself is just a range extender that can carry UAV wingman, a laser and missiles while it can be detach from the main body the ADF-10 is a main module that dosent have a armament exept for it pulse laser as its gun and small as the F-16C.
But dispict the size the biggest off all is the X-49 Night Raven and the XR-900 Geopelia.
Some of those mods were amazing
AC7 Modding gives a hell lot of extra time to the game. Just wish gameplay is more moddable.

I really have to wonder if the Raven is actually to-scale because I know for a fact that the Raven is a lot more maneuverable than the Nosferatu despite the fact that the Nosferatu is a smaller frame with roughly equivalent avionics.
Well actually the developers had to scale the CFA-44 down a bit for Ace Combat 7 so it can fit into the hanger so really the Nosferatu isn't at the correct scale in AC7 where in AC6 it was larger.

is there a model specifically for ADFX-10/ADF-11 and not ADF-11F's? would have been nice to see how toe "original size" looked like before attaching the big RAW-F wing units. not that ADF-11 alone be useful in fighting secnarios, the thing only has guns and no missiles..
