Phil the Ohio Blue was excellent,sour mashing now. Do you think these hydrometers we buy are accurate,seems to me that paper scale they put in them can be installed anywhere in the glass. Hard to believe each one is calibrated

Did you put anything in the thumper? Dunder or wash?
What if you dumped a ton of that flavor extract into a thumper? Dose that work?

You should save your dunder and start a muck pit . Maybe even proof with some of your dunder for some deeper flavor profile
