I had a journal with one of those cheap, easy to pick padlocks that most of the cheap journals have. You know what was more effective? Writing in a book that looked like an ordinary boring school book, and hiding it in plain sight (a.k.a. in the book case next to my school books). I don't think anybody found it. I remember that we would pay people to do the hair wrapping thing for us. Kind of like how kids these days come back from Bali with their hair in braids. Also, remember going to the markets and there would always be that one person putting people's names on a grain of rice, which would go into a tiny little pendant on a corded necklace? Does anyone still have their rice necklace? Does it not get gross over time?

The skip it was a ankle buster. It was definitely not that thin and did not have cush. It weighed a ton and I'm pretty sure it had a spin counter on it. If someone bashed you with the spin floor part it basically broke your ankle. F that thing!!

Honestly i wasn't even born in the 90's and the first toy you pulled out brought back so many memories. Mostly of me hitting that tham diary becuase my 6-7 year old self had very poor memory. I would also get grounded for hitting it... Ahh, memories!
The lockable journal reminds me of a long time ago I went to a family friends house and he got one of those from his sisters and put a $100 bill in it and got it stuck so for about 2 hours he tried to open it but ended up smashing it open with a hammer. 😂

Im pretty sure the hair braid thing your supposed to put the other way around, start at the scalp and weave down and away. That way you dont have to weave it backwards to get it off your head🤪

I have the old easy bake oven and I love it,because you can make cake 🎂 ,cupcakes 🧁, and cookies 🍪 . They were all eggs free . I have an allergy to chicken eggs. I also have the skip it and its was fun but I have to gave it away but the only I have only work on kid size ankle and my ankle got to big for it.

The original concept, but the actual brand Skip-It came out in the 80’s and re-released in the 90’s. It’s now discontinued. I had the 80’s version. I remember saving up for it and going to Toys R Us to get it.

for the journal, you have to use the exact same voice so the point basically is if someone knows the password they cant get in. unless they can mimick your voice very well
In the 60s, we had "skip its" but it was a long string with a bell on the end. It was long enough for someone to skip with you... but when my friend jumped in she jumped on the string. I ended up falling and breaking my arm....

Easy bake first came out in early 1960s. I had one in 70s. Not much was ever edible out of it.
