I loved the shrine scene, they really nailed that uneasy disturbing atmosphere and showed Makima's terrifying side, it was perfect
In that scene it sounded like bells ringing instead of piano which made it even better
I wish her pose was animated similar to the manga

Horrifying. Disturbing. Uneasy. Intense
I thought it was beautiful
mishima shuzo , Inoue Takashi.
Even Star Platinum is afraid
I love the duality of holy and unholy themes
Starts of with the piano notes. Sinister undertone. Then a chaotic background harmony.
Then the thumping heartbeat kicks in. An overall sense of anxiety and a rush of dread. There's fear and urgency.
Then back to something mysterious and sinister again .
Amazing how it truly captures what kind of entity Makima is and how terrified she can make someone feel.
It's both terrifying and so satisfying at the same time.
2:46 is absolute chills. Just rings with absolute determination and ruthlessness. The footsteps of imminent action.
Thanks to this song, this episode will remain in my memory for a long time. One of few memorable OSTs from ChM for me for now.
Totally !! That was so disturbing but yet very fascinating to watch. I don't know much about Makima yet since I didn't read the manga, but this scene just confirmed my thoughts on how deadly she seems to be.
I don't actually watch this anime, nor do I read the manga. I just came across this scene and I found it so fucking hype, especially because of the music. So good.
Give a shot to the anime. In spite of all gore its decently well written a greatly animated! I think you would gona like it! 😀

it’s so interesting! the piano always makes me feel so uncomfortable as there is almost no repetition of a melody. you’d expect a repeating melody but instead the nodes keep going with new variations. but instead of having random tomes you noticed there is still somewhat of a melody! it gives the perfect disturbing vibe the deep monotonous background adds to it. then the fast beat kicks in which resembles to an heavy heart beat! it’s quite amazing what was done here!

How can people argue about Mappa's work with this anime? I can't imagine another version of the anime

It was released on the original soundtrack with 49 tracks it's called "humans are fools" but the sinister piano stride of kensei music is better than the one released. I really appreciate his version more than the official one.
