Thx for the video. I think I will share the way how to progress even quicker with a lot of XP. I started to use it at Michigan with his huge muskies and pikes. Buy or rent the kayak (not the boat or anything else, the kayak), bring with you a setup for 6-8 kg (13-17lbs) test weight. Paddle to spot where you wanna fish, DON'T anchor your kayak. As you catch a fish, it will move you around, but wont go too far, bcs you are moving behind him. When the fish is tired, you can reel him in. I was catching with this metod even sturgeons and uni wels catfish. Thanks to the underpowered gear the game rewards you with a lot of XP.
I’ve been using a barbless #2/0 hook for sturgeon and about 1 out of 10 are over the 44lb max weight. Would recommend! Have had good luck using large cut bait on a bottom rod, fishing from the kayak.
You are so right about night fishing at Emerald Lake. The Everglades are a trap that should be avoided. You take much more equipment dmg there. More trash fish. I went back to Emerald at lvl 28. Got 30 easily, no repairs, no trash fish at night. Made 30k about 5x faster than Everglades.
I think I only did lone star, then emerald walleyes and then saint croix's walleyes (caught uni wallys) and then learned there's a sturgeon spot there caught them while having to deal with those heavy cheap catfishes. and then learned there's a better sturgeon place which was san joaquin. the hardest moment on fishing planet would always be the first fish that will ever break even on your trip. that'll be the reason why you'll ever go back to your safe place. after that if you have a good money making fish then you'll stay there.
I stuck with the 66lb keepnet my entire time in Emerald Lake, up to lvl 32 I think - when the keepnet upgrade was huge and perfect for pike. Ended up saving a LOT of money by avoiding all the intermediary keepnet upgrades that would have been overkill for walleye anyway.
I bought the congo pack at lev 30. Yeh, it's $40, but you get to fish congo for 30 days, a lev 75 area! You get a bass boat. Wasn't happy w the visibility, but it is fast w 2 rod holders! You get a massive fish keeper over 300 lb single fish wt, over 900 lbs total, which means $$$. I'm now lev 65 with 10 days left and over 5 mil in acct! So, while I'm grinding perch n Goliath tigerfish, I've opened up so much of the map I can do after my 30 days, and who knows, maybe I'll get to 75! Oh, n the monster gets you a very nice duck lure. So, if you don't mind spending $40, I highly recommend congo!!! How much per day? 100k to 225k money. 100k exp. You can get $30k on 1 fish or more and 25k to 40k exp! Do the math.

I'm aware this video is a year old and there might have been changes in the game since then Anyway i am currently lv27, i basically stayed in emerald since lv20-ish, i have been using the fishjail L (50kg or 110lbs) for quite a while now and i have been filling them with walleyes to the brim so far. Yes this will take quite some time and there are times the bite stops for a while (and i sometimes make the exceptions of keeping other trophy fishes so i can skip day faster) BUT i have yet to need to go into the night to max my fishjail. It is always filled by the end of the active fish time(s) during the day. I've been using 2 feeders and 1 spinning so far and it works great. The feeders work by themselves, the spinning keeps me occupied and i have my phone next to me to keep me entertained 😂 just make sure all 3 rods can cast around at least ~55-80m or so. Once you find the fish spots even the lv3 creekpro works wonders (it's one of the feeders im using)

Problem for me is, if i upgrade my rods, they still won't be strong enough for a lot of the Sturgeon and at that point i may as well just continue fishing with my weaker rod in a kayak, or like i just stated move on, but i'm not sure where.
@@deedlefish And how well is it holding up for Sturgeon above 20kg/44lb? I saw that the max drag reel and thus setup for my current level 42 self is 19kg/41lb, though i'm not certain how long of a fight it will be if i do go above and beyond for the fish size. I was planning on getting two bottom rods for this, but i'm just not fully convinced if it's worth spending over 100k if i'm still going to end up struggling massively with the fight.
@@wingsofthunder170 I did catch 20+kg Sturgeon with my 15kg Bottom rod, its faster from a Kajak, (from land i would say about 2-5 Minutes Fighting), but then you can only use 1 Rod at a Time. I bought the first Cat Boxer Rod with 21 kg, will have to test that out Soon. (level 44 at the Moment) :D My Biggest Sturgeon was like 24,98 kg so Far.
@@KitteKat080 Lovely, i have the 16kg bottom rod atm, so i'm not really sure if adding another 3kg and wasting ~70k on the rod and reel is really going to be worth it - i don't really want to waste 3 mins fighting and 4% of the durability for one fish, when i could instead go on a kayak and get the fish in 20 seconds and not really lose any durability (lower future costs if i repair).
Everglades are worse than Emerald. You made 8672€ / 24h with fishjail bigger than my 30kg. I make 6000€ per 30kg of walleye. The gear is 2x cheeper, the travel costs to Emerald is 3k vs 5k Everglades. Do not grind at Everglades 😮😮😮
In my experience, people quit playing before they grind emerald all the way to St. Croix. I’ve explained this many times before - which is why I always recommend switching to Everglades for a change of pace, and still some good fish & money.

It's a pretty simple concept - you catch fish, make money and exp, level up and buy better gear, then move onto the next area." But... people don't like that. They want to find a "shortcut", because the concept is just too simple I guess. Anyway, all of this to tell you, yeah, I agree with you, EESS shouldn't need to be a thing. But I created it because I was sick of people asking me what to do, so I came up with a short acronym to throw at them when I get the same question thrown at me 5 times a stream, 10 times a week, 40 times a month, 480 times a year, its just... annoying. Lol, so the more people who know about EESS, the less people ask me.

FYI: 44lbs is about 20kg. So you need the 25kg max fish keep net to keep the larger Sturgeon and keep the cash.

Thats why i waited to buy the Lv 40 Fishnet, cause Sturgeon are heavy. And then fished there. :D
