- Saying farewell with faces and memories spanning almost four decades from the iconic Australian soap Neighbours which came to an end in 2022. This was created before the returnees for the actual last episode were announced.

Loved the show from start to finish, must admit i had a wee tear in my eye at the end.
Another thing I would suggest adding (for the people who make the credits for the final episode) is a special thank you message to the viewers for supporting them for 37 years.
You did a really good job. Send a copy to the studio or the fan club. It was so much more than the Scott and Charlene show and you really captured just how many people made up the Neighbours production. Well done.

Iv watched this from the start really am going to miss it so many neighbor's actors have gone on to become world wide stars, even though she was in it a long time ago my all time favourite was Helen Daniel's such a classy lady and the only one who could keep Paul Robinson in check.

Fantastic work! Look at those faces... the show really featured the cream of the crop of Australian acting talent over all those years, and not just the "popular" characters - Maggie Dence, Terence Donovan, George Spartels, Shauna O'Grady, Janet Andrewartha, Tom Oliver, Elspeth Ballantyne, Gary Files, Moya O'Sullivan... and the list goes on and on.
This is brilliant. Love it. I watched it until the mid 1990s and forgot about some of the characters. You really worked hard in making this video, thank you.
I was always sad when Daphne died really felt for dess. And also loved the fights between mrs mangle and madge
One actress they should left the doors open for her she was great in neighbours and I was sad when they killed her off I would have written she left Des for someone else I wouldn't killed her off Des and dephne was a great on screen couple. Des after she left was not the same a stupid error scriptwriters never thought thow another actor they should keep the door open was Jim Robinson they should not killed him off he should left for a new job in London their probably others they shouldn't killed off the problem with soaps they focus on ratings not the actor or actress who made the show
@@richardhowcroft1066 Elaine WANTED to go. She was all of 25 and didn't want to be a series lifer and wanted to do other things. They tried everything, offered her more money, etc but she wouldn't move and knowing people wouldn't accept Des and Daphne splitting after the shit they went through to get together (Shane, Andrea, etc), killing Daphne off was the only realistic option.
Sort of the same deal with Kristian Schmid and Todd (he'd done 4.5yrs and wanted to spread his wings), so instead of Todd initially abandoning Phoebe/leaving after she had the abortion (whichever they chose) and going back to Annette in Adelaide, Kristian wanted to go out with a bang so, Todd goes 1 on 1 vs an Oncoming van and bites the dust
Alan Dale had a falling out with the producers but time seems to have healed it as he came as a vision twice.

That was beautiful. Must admit it brought a few tears to my eye and a lovely touch with the dedication at the end. I REALLY hope that they do use the original theme at end. It would be great to sing along 'one last time'.

This brings tears 😢 Neighbours is truly an institution, it's always been there to make you laugh, cry and feel all the emotions along with its many characters throughout the years. I would agree with you if they characters that was like in the early days. I been watching for the 1st time in years to see how the characters like and I can see why channel five stopped sponsored then it is not nothing to talk about most actress actors are good but the storylines and they betrayed them is pooring and something missing in the soap compere to early day's
@@richardhowcroft1066 that is true. The storylines have been very weak for sometime now. I was commenting purely in a nostalgic way as it's a piece of television that has always been around since I was young. There's been many great characters over the years and some annoying. Haha. I guess if the storyline and ratings were good chanel 5 would have kept it going 😕

This is so sad I have watched NEIGHBOURS since the 80's,it was my favourite soap.But like they say good things must come to an end.I'll miss NEIGHBOURS and the Fabulous cast of characters love you NEIGHBOURS 😢😢

Born in 92' and i seem to recall so many memories for some reason. It was always on at a certain time but wouldn't pay much attention to it, but...yeah it is quite sad. Almost as if its always been there throughout my life lol

YAAAAASSS!!! Something like this anyway!!! I think they should've shown all the old credits, or the first one of a set at least, for two days at a time or something like that in the lead up to the end!! With the years it ran from but nope! They gotta do something super spesh for the final credits!!!!! Thirty seven years is a LOT of history!!!! Millions of fans have a vast history with this show so that needs to be respected in as many ways as possible in the lead up to the end!!
I also want songs like "Wrong Impression", "Especially For You", "Letting You Know", "Don't It Make You Feel Good" etc. etc. to be featured somehow!!! Heck even songs like "Cuba" and "One Good Reason" too!!! OH!!! Those were the days!!!
I think since the fans have such a big heart for this show we're gonna have the best sorts of ideas about the finale.

That is awesome. Good it's not focused all around Kylie and Jason, and that all characters have an equal look in. Depends on the content of the final episode in respect of nostalgia as to whether this would fit right, at the end.

Is it true that Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan were on The Last Episode. If they were that is so beautiful. The Week that As The World Turns ended in 2010, Julianne Moore came on The Show. She played Two Characters Frannie Hughes & her Long Lost Sister/Cousin Sabrina Fullerton. Alot of talent came from that show. Lauryn Hill (Before The Fugees), Jason Biggs, Marisa Tomei, Meg Ryan and Ming Na Wen. It's amazing they are singing a Song that Burt Bacharach/Carole Bayer Sager wrote that ended a 15 Year Feud with Burt and Dionne Warwick.

Nah, I think they'll use a different theme besides I don't like Barry's version of the theme tune, I like the 1994 and 1999 version.
Im betting it comes back in a few decades Doctor Who went in 1989 and everyone was shocked it was ending but the fanbase was still there and repeats drew in loads of viewers hence in 2005 it was revived and still going strong im betting Neighbours will be repeated around the world and will do really well then revived decades later
Whatever they do, there’s no way they can beat that, so you must send that into the studios, because there they have their final credits. They don’t have to work on them now or worry about them.
When is the final episode? Looks a great close. Everyone from Mrs Mangel to the Doug and Pam Willis and Martin family ( and beyond) in the black and white pictures.

A few mistakes you forgot to add all the network that helped the show servived like BBC1 who saved it from being scapped in the UK unless you added it in and I overlooked it but you done a 1000 perfect ending maybe a picture of the original cast with thank you but perfect ending for the neighbours should be so pride of yourself

Most of the old and later cast in neighbours are originally from the UK, alot of Australians the majority are originally from England and there history and culture is the same many left the cold UK to the sun and never turned back many English are still invading Australia today or shall I say immigrating .

They always brought new actors actress in the show but it to late to save it because Australia not funding it anymore in it network and know channel five ended it support they cannot continue it lost it roots and while ratings was good in Uk it was not enough also Australia will expect channel five to invest more money in it. I take my hat off from neighbours because it survived three times in the pass 1st aired on seven 7 network from the fist 18 months and was about to be scapped then but network Ten saved it then 10 Peach tv then it run into rating troubles again and was about to end but uk TV BBC1 saved it by funding it until 2008 BBC1 got fed up with the network asking for more money then BBC1 said no and ended it support. It went of air in UK for 18 month's until the contract run our it was illegal to let any other channel take over right away. But was taken over by channel 5in late 2009 they showed advert to say it coming back then they run on channel five since the network could not afford to keep neighbours running with was founded by channel 5 now they stopped funding it it time it ended but it the only soap that gad three lifelines no other soap got help like neighbours did not even UK soaps only one who was nearly was scapped in uk because of low ratings was emmerdale but they never got help was emmerdale.

It simpler to how sons daughters ended but yours showed clips when the end of son's and daughters didn't I hope Paul get his comeuppance for all his evil deeds hope they don't copy son's and daughters by wayne calling the police after killing Susan let's hope he gets it by a member of his family
