Silver Mirror Test/Tollen'Reagent Test.

Tollens' test, also known as silver-mirror test, is a qualitative laboratory test used to distinguish between an aldehyde and a ketone. Here, only the aldehydes give positive tollen's test whereas ketones do not. Also, the alcohols which can be oxidized to aldehydes also give the positive tollen's test.
Alkaline Ammonical solution of Silver Nitrate is called Tollen's Reagent.
