Yeah but it's still a battle royale so it'd still be a weird thing to say. Or were the players not voluntarily taking part in the killing? I don't know anything about this game.
Thanks for putting this together as always! RE: work/life balance thing I do think you have to take him with a grain of salt. We know he works hard but he's also streamed hundreds of hours of gaming and who knows whatever else he's doing with his time. It's not only work.
He probably means that he's not separating work from his life, his work is his life. The same way the sleep is not our life, but the time when we're awake. But yeah, probably everyone wishes just to spend every waking hour on doing what they love at 100% efficiency, but very few are able to achieve this.
There's a good point there. It should be work/leisure balance. If you consider your work "not your life", you've got bigger issues than 'balance'. No one says life/sleep balance, lol.
"first blood i should've seen that coming" actually isn't nearly as dumb as "watch out for the new kill leader" what? of course, watch out for everyone. the game does not even indicate who the kill leader is it's completely irrelevant, why is it announced all the time
He didn't know, because obviously he's not that engaged with Apex lore season 1. But she's literally some kind of weird multiverse/time traveler. Pretty sure that was their point for that line.
1:16 Damn right, voice action in video games was a mistake. We rely too much on this and you must put and hire actors and basically destroy immersion. I love the old janky video games where technology was so basic that nobody had speech, it was just text or just straight into the game. And no QA process that pushes all these elements.
He's like the Chef Ramsey of video games
He's the Chef Ramsey of Programming and I absolutely love it.

There's an infinite amount of them. The large kind of infinite!
It has been a while since I laughed non-stop for 7 mins. Thank you for making this.
I think the "First blood. should've seen that coming" only makes sense when you understand Wraith's backstory. It's fitting for who she is. A precog.
