I loved seeing kid Vegeta getting taught a valuable lesson. I recall the series that brings King Vegeta back and trained by his son and Goku. He mentioned how many battles him and Bardock had during the afterlife and that they'd fight like true sayians. This made me recall that series. Loved the color and details as well, can't wait to see more.
that lesson was sorely needed for the prince back when he was a kid... it does not matter if you're royalty or not .. your genes always change and mix and create something different and different can mean either weaker/the same or stronger.. same with royalty. and if you don't put effort into what you're doing you can never surpass anyone who actually tries their best, that job fell to goku sadly and why it irked the prince so much more than what it would have had he gone through this in his younger years.
I know what you're saying but in this case you are wrong. If we were talking about the human race you would be correct, but this is the saiyan race. Saiyans practice selective breeding just like we do with animals. There are many examples, race horses, expensive more athletic breeds of dogs, a farmer's main bull for the herd is also priceless. Saiyans operate in much the same way. That's why there are the elites and the lower class. Prince Vegeta isn't wrong to make the presumptions he made as he would be correct about 99% of the lower class. Bardock is simply an anomaly, King Vegeta even points that out here, which is why he considered elevating his status to elite. However there are always anomalies like Bardock, especially after multiple generations since the original division in the saiyan race between elite and low-class. Statistically enough generations would seemingly randomly produce more elite-class warriors from the lower-class, and even without that progress in genes and talent there are still always outliers regardless. Not to mention this is manga and we all know in manga all you have to do to be the best is get mad enough or have enough willpower, all though that's not what we are talking about and that is just a manga trope anyway. Yes in real life willpower can take you to new heights, but that remains true for people that are already born with the best genes as well and if they have the same willpower and put in the same amount of effort then sorry, they are going to be better. Unless of course it comes down to talent, but of course they could have equal or greater talent too, they are born with a definate advantage, therefore I disagree with your statement. If you bred animals you would know this to be a very simple and undeniable truth.

In games like Devil May Cry your success depends on your twitch reflexes. Experience will make you a better player though it will not make you great. The meta of Monster Hunter explains how to be first rate. You have to memorize movements learning how to exploit the AI. It is something I am not particularly good at, even as an experienced gamer with some talent. When it comes to Role-playing games of every genre. Success depends on gathering more data than the mind can sort through naturally. Which requires spread sheets and notes which requires skill I am not particularly good at regardless of my attempts to learn or Pathing which requires you to copy the path of another move for move improving your execution over time.
