Mt Samuel, Flinders Ranges

The Mount Samuel four-wheel drive track offers a scenic journey through the Flinders Ranges, showcasing its stunning beauty. The track starts in sheep grazing country and then takes you along mountain ridges with views of Mount Samuels. The dramatic descent into Mount Buggery Gorge provides an exhilarating experience, leading to a challenging drive along Mount Buggery Creek in a breathtaking valley. The track is approximately 70kms long and is rated as challenging, requiring high clearance vehicles with low range capability. The cost is $50 per vehicle, we received information and the key from Angorichina service station.

We only ride like that when we know it's relatively safe. On a track in the middle of nowhere, needing a key for a locked gate, and an early morning start. We didn't see a single person until we got back to drop off the key.
