Huge problem is respawning will spawn you above anything on the stage
@@SadMatte If you want your custom stage to have a ceiling, you can use a cannon to get through it after respawning, and you can put lava above the ceiling to prevent people from stalling by staying up there.
What if all the barriers were made out of lava?
My games with HopCat (12:14 - 15:05) were actually so fun.
I don't even care that I lost, HopCat was actually awesome to play against and I had a great time :)

I once made a stage in one of the older smash games so bad the AI decided to commit suicide rather than play on it. It was meant to be an aerial combat stage where you bounce off bumpers and jump on floating platforms while fighting in the middle of the stage... the Ai would instead just run the opposite way and jump out of the stage. This is probably a pathfinding error but it was amusing.

Great and funny battles at the same time lol. i love how the custom maps force you to be way more cautious and limit certain combos, its funny
custom stages are good for casual play but its pretty interesting seeing an expert player trying to avoid such ruinously placed hazards. made my own unforgiving stage and being a solo player i 5 stocked a mid level CPU by simply launching or throwing them into the hazards lol (happened multiple times of course)
definitely only a human player has any chance of avoiding broken hazard placement in custom stages. havent seen my amiibo try to avoid this stuff yet though

Come on little z, people will sweat over literally anything. You could do a literal coin flip tourny and people would be labbing out if heads or tails is 0.1% more likely to come up.
Heads is actually more likely to come up because the head face is heavier, it's like a 0.005 difference if I remember correctly
