Thank you Bob, that's why I did such a detailed video on it. I couldn't find any on TH-cam that could answer some of my questions, so I experimented on the first side and then did the explanation on the second side.
You should report them George.Sad to see your Comments have been 'Bot'd" I never click them, and neither should you. Great job on the brakes. In almost 50 years of brakes,I've never seen the flat type spring.
I think I got a set of them from Harbor Freight, but you can also find them at most hardware stores if you don't have an HF nearby. Thanks for stopping by and taking a look with me.
I have a 1986 200sx I just started wrenching on. The front left hub is stuck on there. I tried a puller, rubber mallet. Its on there. Any suggestions?!? The front right came off no issues
Lots of hammering and a puller. Mine were stuck pretty well after sitting outdoors in a field for 10 years. If you are blessed enough to be able to back off the adjustment screw it would help. Mine were frozen. Patience is the key.
Dear George, I have a similar 1985 Honda TRX250 Quad Bike, and your video has now helped to know how to fix the front brake which has siezed the wheel up, that it won't turn. I have got a yellow Bernzomatic Torch that I've been using for years. But my Torch Handle is a Bernzomatic TS4000. I've not seen the type of Torch Handle that you're using. It seems to put out more intense heat. Can you please tell me the Model Number of it? Is it by Bernzomatic? Is it available on ebay? Thanks. Simon MacDonald. Invercargill, New Zealand. b.1975
Thanks for stopping by Simon. I believe the nozzle that I use came from Harbor Freight. Do you have a similar store down under? I'm sure you could source one on eBay to do the job as well. The yellow tanks, as you know, are map gas and not propane. The map gas is hotter for sure.
Hey George wanted to ask u do u have any Ernest tubb on vinly I do I’ve got his gretest hits album right now I’m playing the song walking the floor over you
Wait... @1:20... are you saying you found your 10mm socket, which enabled you to remove the bolts, from the seized adjuster? I don't believe you; it's Common Knowledge that the 10mm socket cannot be found! 😉 That anti-seize makes things Slickery! @5:08 and maybe some Other Moments... did you ever Swear? I know you'd never leave that kind of language in your videos (I won't either), since it isn't "Family Friendly"; but Inquiring Minds are Curious. I think that wire brush makes a good Small Cylinder Hone. @17:26... "Bingo, Bango, Bongo..."; reminds me of a Line, from Quantum Leap 😉 I hope I am able to afford my Subscribers "Shaky Cam", when I am Old Enough. 😊 Nothing says: "End Video" like Jinxy Cat, showing us "Ohio"!

Thank you Sir
Thank you for taking the time to stop by my shop.
Great job on the bike so far George !!
Thank you Mike
Good job on the front brakes George. This should help other people needing to do this on their 4x4!!

Good job George, good when you can make your own parts, thanks for the video
Thank you
Geeorge, I learn so much from you. Thank you brother!!
Thank you my friend.
Nice job George, getting all that old fluid out will help extend the life of your brake job. Nice work
I replaced the old fluid with synthetic fluid as well. Thanks Lloyd
Nice job making that brake shoe retainer.
Thank you. I hope it helps someone else with the same issue.
good job making that brake shoe retainer pin, the round springs like most cars use are easier for me than those flat springs on that quad.
I agree Vernon and I was amazed to find that parts stores don't carry parts for drum brakes anymore. I guess I am dating myself, eh?
Great job again George ! That will stop on a Dime and give you a Nickel & 4 Pennies change .. ENJOYED
The brakes are working great! Thanks Shawn
Awesome George!
Thank you Matt
Hang onto your "Hat" & take your shoes off 😎 • Cheers from the Detroit & Mackinac Railway 🚂

Good how too video George,👍👍
Thank you Duke, I didn't find any other detailed video on TH-cam so thought this might be helpful to someone else.
Cool watching this going to sleep lol!
It was long and detailed but hopefully helpful to someone else who may be doing this for the first time. Thanks
Where did you buy that circular wire brush?

You may have to use some heat along with the puller and a BIG hammer. Hope you get it. Thanks for stopping by.
How did you get the hub off to do the brakes? I’m having a hard time.
