I have the Rhythm of the Rain album and all the songs there have been played more than a thousands of times. I was told they died in a plane crash when I was 2 yrs old.
Still have my Cascades 4 track Muntz tape, and Muntz Blue Light deck, where i first heard them play, hooked up to my factory Vibrasonic sound system in my 64 1/2 Cyclone. Glad I was able to get their 331/3 Stereo Albums as well back then.
Jesus - this was the B side to the 'hit' - strong enough to be an A side in its own right. Ive always loved the music of the Cascades - keep rocking boys!
It's great that oldies groups like the Cascades can draw such a crowd in Asia. Others like the Crickets and Bobby Vee apparently still do very well in Europe also. On the downside though, I wonder if they feel a little unappreciated back home. There are still many of us who appreciate the old acts but maybe fewer of us to make it worthwhile commercially in North America.
Cascades, more than excellent, so soothing to hear and very well crafted songs. Do write more and add to your master pieces to satisfy your age group from all over the world. edna g philippines
@daddyluv123 Correction the Cascades never died in a plane crash The group did reformed in 1995 and again in 2004 without drummer Dave Wilson who had died in 2000, aged 63, and they toured the US and the Philippines, Eddie Snyder changed his name to Eddie Preston and went country check, and John Claude Gummoe the original lead singer still downloads new stuff he's doing onto youTube, so check what you know NOT what you think you know before you slag someone off
There was no plane crash that claimed the lives of the Cascades. You must have them confused with another group. By the way, their records on RCA were brilliant.
My First Day Alone is one of my favorite songs by the Cascades. I wish they used the original rooster's crow. I do not like the crow of the rooster here.
Ang sarap pakinggan ng mga music noon kaysa ngaun ❤❤❤🎶
The youth may not be there anymore, but the voice and the music still shines.
Bravo! Cascades!

Wow, one of our favorites to jam at FEU Architecture in the early 70's. Anybody remembers that group at 7th floor NTB? I was one of them.
Wonderful! They sound even better than they were years ago.
I love cascades

@xAlphaQ: old they may be, but they sing very well, still, and the songs tug at the heart of anyone who has ever been in love. :-)
Although they're all grand-pa's, their voices are still so young. Sound just like yesterday.........
