- Club layout tours from the N-scale Weekend in Altoona, PA. If you haven't been to this show - you're missing out on a great opportunity to see some excellent layouts, awesome running trains, a trip to the famous Horseshoe Curve, and of course, the ability to relieve yourself of all possible disposable income - or perhaps give up food for a few months to cover the cost.
I jumped around to the layouts quite a bit - so, they're not sequential segments. There's multiple segments from some of the more detailed scenes i visited more than once - so, don't miss them while scanning through the vid!
This year, modules could be entered into a best-in-show contest. There were lots of options and I boiled it down to no. 3 and no. 10. Stay tuned to the end of the video for my vote which in my opinion exemplified modeling perfection, detail, color selection, and composition.

the show was epic.
Thanks for sharing!
I think the one you showed was the best, to put that much detail in the small space and the back drop picture fits right in. Your video really shows the different types of modular themes you can create. I stopped your vid to take a screen shot for inspiration and did like the fall scene also.
yes, the modeler did an outstanding job with the vast amount of detail, the colors, everything was perfect for the time period. it was really an awesome module.
Amazing 👍🏻
A lot more passenger trains are running more often now on layouts.
i noticed that, too. i think it's because manufacturers are putting out named train collections recently.
That's awesome! I shared your video on our group page
Great! thanks.
