Yeah it’s so annoying when TH-camrs talk over the most important lines in the trailers. For The Batman it was so upsetting seeing how many people talked over “I’m Vengeance” and didn’t hear it. 😭

I think you made a very good point in regards to the leaks. As a big fan of Succession, this trailer still had that "WHAT?!? WOW!!!" Feeling for me, although not because of Wolverine.
I saw someone theorize that the villain is Cassandra Nova (evil psychic sister of Professor X), based on the brief shot we get of a bald person (not Wade) from behind.
I had xp with Motion Capture and gotta hand it to the creators that ever since the first film they've created a seriously fluid and accurate movement animations and really badass fight choreography for Deadpools,. They outdid themselves this time. Ps. You almost saw me as Leon in these new Resident Evil games :)
I like a lot of the little details, like Shatterstar and Peter being at his birthday, or the way he says "I... am... Marvel Jesus" having the same pacing as Endgame's "I... am... Iron Man". Also a good look at some R-rated humor, language, and violence in the MCU. I agree that it doesn't make much sense to just tease Hugh Jackman when we've already seen him in costume via set photos, but I still liked the trailer quite a bit. It does feel like the Deadpool 3 I've been wanting.

Sean, No matter how many times our opinions and thoughts may not align but I will always respect you for being the only TH-camr who doesnt talk while watching a trailer for the first time. People miss important stuff when they talk during trailers. I was watching another reaction video earlier and the couple totally missed the Disney joke in the beginning of the teaser cause he was too busy laughing for God knows what. I also appreciate you going back and watching the trailers again in case you missed something. Loads of love from Pakistan.
To me the “Homework assignment” angle is one I feel is being misused. Now, yes, I get it, having to pay for a Disney + subscription to watch shows that connect w movies is a lot for some. I get it. However, prior to Disney +, we’d have to pay to watch the movies in theaters or buy the movie after, so there was still money involved and it could still be seen as a “Homework assignment”. That’s the part that doesn’t make sense to me. However, playing devils advocate, I think part of what’s exasperating this issue is the pure quantity of content in Phases 4 and 5, which has made it feel in some cases like actually work you have to do. But that aside, if you wanted to be updated in the MCU during Phases 1-3 you still had homework you had to do if you wanted to be informed on what was going on.
But there’s a big difference between phases 1-3 where the MCU averaged slightly over 2 movies per year and phases 4-5 where they’re averaging over 3 movies AND 3 tv shows per year. It took 10 years to put out the first 20 entries (all movies). It took less than 3 years to put out the next 20. Its dramatically more quantity It’s asking people to watch TV Shows It’s asking them to add a streaming service It’s asking them to watch genres which are different from the films with a narrower focus That’s a LOT of compounding factors

How’s it gonna tie in? Is it gonna be more MCU centric or more Deadpool centric? I wanna give up the MCU already, and so if it was gonna be more MCU centric, than I would’ve not looked forward to it. All these things had me worried and honestly still do a bit. But it looks like it’ll be a fun standalone Deadpool movie. Hopefully it stays that way.

And I’m excited to rewatch through the X-Men franchise leading up to Deadpool & Wolverine coming out.

An Impressive teaser trailer. Up there with the longlegs teaser. This is the best-looking MCU movie in a while because they filmed most of it on actual sets and the fight sequences look amazing.
For me the homework isn't Loki, it's the 2 non-MCU films. (I have a similar problem with Daredevil). While I don't see any reason the writers will have a problem letting us know what we need to, one of the reasons I (and others?) like franchises is that we've seen how things have built up
I think the homework aspect of the TVA being in this movie won’t be as bad as say The Marvels. Mostly just because Deadpool as a character is already outside of the MCU at the beginning so the movie will probably have them explain the TVA’s role in everything.

I'm going to be completely honest; several years ago, the thought of Deadpool entering the MCU was something I didn't want. But as the years passed, the idea became more and more flexible with me. And now, having seen the first Deadpool movie in December... man, I am SO STOKED for this film! Can't wait!
I laugh at the fact people think this will save the MCU, when the very next things coming out are a bunch of TV shows no one asked for, Captain America 4 but it’s not Steve, The- Thunderbolts? I do understand the skepticism. However, I feel as if Thunderbolts and F4 both have great potential to continue the momentum for the MCU. Thunderbolts is a totally new kind of movie for the MCU. And then Fantastic 4, yeah they’ve had horrible movies but at the end of the day, they’re still the Fantastic 4. They’ve been one of the pillars of Marvel comics for decades, and actually saved Marvel from ending before it even started. They have LOADS of potential in the MCU, it’s just a matter of actually executing
I first I thought the same about TVA but then thought it will be fine because Deadpool doesn't know what's TVA and it seems the agents at the TVA are explaining to him what they are so I think they will have a info dump in the movie for the people who haven't watched Loki (which I totally like this is how it should be TVA shows should not be necessary to understand a movie but should be extension if you liked the movie you can go back and watch Loki to see inner workings of TVA !)

I do not agree at all that if you didn’t watch Loki, u wouldn’t understand this because they will easily explain it for the people that didn’t get to watch Loki. This is because deadpool is also a character that doesn’t know what the TVA is. So if the audience didn’t watch Loki, I’m certain they will explain the concept of the TVA in the movie. Will it help if u watch Loki? Of course, but they’ll most likely explain what the TVA is.
I don’t know if this trailer has made me more nervous or excited? I absolutely love Deadpool, I love Ryan Reynolds, I love Wolverine and I love Hugh Jackman! This is one of my most anticipated films of the year but I feel strangely underwhelmed. I wanted more! I also get the impression that it’s going to be a slightly tamed version of the R rating. I want to be wrong but I was expecting more…
I pretty care free about leaks, while I’m not a leaker myself I’m just a guy who loves comics and comic book movies and I’d say leaks just build more hype and excitement to see the full thing. Also loved this trailer can’t wait, hopefully as well this means will be getting more r rated marvel projects from Disney now

Having now seen the trailer, I think I can get hyped for this movie. I still have a bit of my worries, but as long as it’s just the TVA, I’ll be fine. Please, just no Thor, or Hulk, or Ms. Marvel or any current MCU character. It looks like a standalone Deadpool adventure that just so happens to be set in the MCU, and so I think I’ll be able to enjoy it as is. With the ending tagline too, I hope this can be a finale for the character the same way Vol. 3 and No Way Home felt like ending phases for the characters. Glad I can actually look forward to the movie now 👍
@@Forced2Comeback it’s not my beef so I’ll clarify: I don’t want ANY current MCU character in this. Have it be as it’s marketed. Just Deadpool and Wolverine. Don’t bring in all the other characters of the universe and have it be standalone Deadpool.

Before this trailer dropped, this movie wasn’t in my Top 15 Most Anticipated Movies of 2024. Now, it’s safely in my Top 10 most anticipated.

An Impressive teaser trailer. Up there with the longlegs teaser. This is the best-looking MCU movie in a while because they filmed most of it on actual sets and the fight sequences look amazing.

For me the homework isn't Loki, it's the 2 non-MCU films. (I have a similar problem with Daredevil). While I don't see any reason the writers will have a problem letting us know what we need to, one of the reasons I (and others?) like franchises is that we've seen how things have built up

I think the homework aspect of the TVA being in this movie won’t be as bad as say The Marvels. Mostly just because Deadpool as a character is already outside of the MCU at the beginning so the movie will probably have them explain the TVA’s role in everything.
Yeah deffo because The Marvels requires U to watch Wandavision and Ms marvel & Endgame maybe.
Deadpool 3 probably requires U to watch the previous movies and Loki s1 to understand how the tVa works
I believe leaks affect the very specific fan but the casual don't know about the leaks
I mean Ryan Reynolds shared the picture of the two characters walking to his 50 million followers.
The leaks in this case got a LOT of exposure beyond us on the internet.

I'm going to be completely honest; several years ago, the thought of Deadpool entering the MCU was something I didn't want. But as the years passed, the idea became more and more flexible with me. And now, having seen the first Deadpool movie in December... man, I am SO STOKED for this film! Can't wait!

I laugh at the fact people think this will save the MCU, when the very next things coming out are a bunch of TV shows no one asked for, Captain America 4 but it’s not Steve, The- Thunderbolts? LOL, Fantastic 1/4th, and an Avengers movie when we don’t even know what the team looks like and the drafting picks look mid 😂

Genius, obviously one movie is not gonna save the entire MCU, it’s gonna need at least 2 or 3 great films back to back in order to gain people's trust back.

I do understand the skepticism. However, I feel as if Thunderbolts and F4 both have great potential to continue the momentum for the MCU. Thunderbolts is a totally new kind of movie for the MCU. And then Fantastic 4, yeah they’ve had horrible movies but at the end of the day, they’re still the Fantastic 4. They’ve been one of the pillars of Marvel comics for decades, and actually saved Marvel from ending before it even started. They have LOADS of potential in the MCU, it’s just a matter of actually executing
The TVA will have to explain who they are because Deadpool doesn't know who they are, perhaps?
I first I thought the same about TVA but then thought it will be fine because Deadpool doesn't know what's TVA and it seems the agents at the TVA are explaining to him what they are so I think they will have a info dump in the movie for the people who haven't watched Loki (which I totally like this is how it should be TVA shows should not be necessary to understand a movie but should be extension if you liked the movie you can go back and watch Loki to see inner workings of TVA !)

I do not agree at all that if you didn’t watch Loki, u wouldn’t understand this because they will easily explain it for the people that didn’t get to watch Loki. This is because deadpool is also a character that doesn’t know what the TVA is. So if the audience didn’t watch Loki, I’m certain they will explain the concept of the TVA in the movie. Will it help if u watch Loki? Of course, but they’ll most likely explain what the TVA is.

I pretty care free about leaks, while I’m not a leaker myself I’m just a guy who loves comics and comic book movies and I’d say leaks just build more hype and excitement to see the full thing. Also loved this trailer can’t wait, hopefully as well this means will be getting more r rated marvel projects from Disney now

Having now seen the trailer, I think I can get hyped for this movie. I still have a bit of my worries, but as long as it’s just the TVA, I’ll be fine. Please, just no Thor, or Hulk, or Ms. Marvel or any current MCU character. It looks like a standalone Deadpool adventure that just so happens to be set in the MCU, and so I think I’ll be able to enjoy it as is.
With the ending tagline too, I hope this can be a finale for the character the same way Vol. 3 and No Way Home felt like ending phases for the characters. Glad I can actually look forward to the movie now 👍
I guess now I have to watch Loki S2 🙄 ughhhhhhhh I’ll wait til a week before the movie comes out…

@@Forced2Comeback it’s not my beef so I’ll clarify: I don’t want ANY current MCU character in this. Have it be as it’s marketed. Just Deadpool and Wolverine. Don’t bring in all the other characters of the universe and have it be standalone Deadpool.

Normally I would agree w/ u bout the leaks but for this movie it doesnt bother me. With trailers it give u a finished idea of what the movie is about. As long as it doesnt leak full scenes, Im okay w/ bts leaks
