    I was at the grocery store today, and I picked up a box of cookies and was THINKING about putting it in my cart. And then I thought, “No, if I bring them home, I will eat them, and I don’t need that.” I put them back on the display and felt so proud that I have started making better choices. It’s good to have cookies once in a while, but I don’t need a big container of them in my house. Thank you for being a good example and an inspiration.

    Hi Jade, I have been watching your videos for a while for inspiration. I’ve lost 60+ pounds but have 30lbs to go. I was always very thin without trying until after having kids so many people don’t understand why I am still so uncomfortable with 30lbs of extra weight on my body. This year I’m determined to get back to my natural weight of 120lbs!! Thank you for your videos!

    Most important, I think is knowing that sleep really affects mood, making you more likely to mad poor lifestyle choices like overeating, snacking, not exercising. Secondly, when losing weight it won't necessarily be from the place you want to lose it. So you have to be disciplined, and accept you lose it from other places first before the places you want to target. And thirdly, lifestyle choices like eating healthy and exercise and getting good sleep benefit how your body *feels* not just how you look to others or in the mirror. And so the focus should be on mindset and energy levels not on checking the scales. And it's easier to start with one small achievable easy change for one month, and get confident in your own discipline and then add one more each month.

    Love, love, love! The shoes…the huge bags…people don’t think about how that can effect your motivation…I’m guilty of it too! Everyone wants to look cute..but would you prefer a cute outfit that you feel miserable in or to BE cute as your healthy self AND be comfortable?

      Definitely have to have some balance ha. At the time comfortable doesn’t always mean good for walking like flip flops etc. …my mum keep trying to wear her crocs everywhere lol

      @@Jaderoselima lol maybe they were comfortable for her🤣. I personally do not find them comfortable, but I know they are for a lot of people.
      I’m at that age were I do value comfort first, but know that I can’t always roll up in workout gear🤣
