@@theplease1099 SERIOUSLY, WHY? The anteater is just overall stronger and would've given more bear triggers. If the weekly had steak and he kept running into teams with steak on low health units, I would be able to slightly see where he's coming from. But he just chose dolphin hoping it would break equipment when no one has equipment on their weakest units this weekly
16 gold, freezes the whole shop, re-roles just for chocolade then gets mad that he can't level the moose. I love this man.
Seriously, I freeze the shop on my last 3-5 gold if I'm playing it safe. He does it after the first roll. He definitely had enough health and a strong enough team to put scaling on hold and try to level up the moose.
Then blames the casino for his bad takes.

@@scrumt9284 The probability for getting any level 4-6 pet is higher than 4/6 because any of your slots could get lucky. (I'm way too lazy to do the math, though.) With 6 open slots, you're very likely to end up with those same pets for the moose if you only start freezing at 3-5 gold. By freezing early with 16 gold, which would have given 11-13 extra rolls, he's losing out on the chances to get moose or penguin levels.

Clearly you don't know what you're talking about, he said he had to take the dolphin to break equipment. Which makes sense because it's not like the dolphin only targets the lowest health unit, which was almost always a scaler that has no equipment and provided zero combat value...

Every time NL says he needs level ups and proceeds to spend his gold in useless food instead of rolling, a little part of me dies
This late in the week, the current weekly not only needs a relatively early dragon, but good shops early so as not to lose hearts, as well as pets that work together. You need that nyala vaquita, or elephant triceritops (put in the BACK so the elephant lasts a long time) as well to win around round 16, or jellyfish bison to win earlier. Earlier in the week, it was a good time to get ribbons for pets with dragons to buff them, but it is no longer enough. By round 13 the *typical* team has three 30/30s and a synergy.
A buy/sell spot adds a lot of utility to the moose. If you got a bunch of 5's and a 1, you can just buy and maybe sell the 1 for big moose buff. It also helps you keep an extra slot unfrozen for matches.

The issue with the moose is the high variance in longtitudinal opportunity cost.
Probably find you're better off freezing max 1 or 2 positions, then roll looking for animals, freezing toward the end of the chain considering that each position has a 2/3 chance of being 3+, a decent buff.
Hell, even 1.1 is something.
That way you don't compromise your second derivative to locally maximise your first derivative.
Moose gets easily stuck in local minima.
It feels bad getting a 1.1 from a moose, but that's a skewed metric, as you may have found a poodle, or even gotten levels in other animals which come with stats and other benefis too.

lol at 10:00 where NL is happy to get a 1 1 buff but is so happy to get chocolate suggests he should probably not freeze the shop animals just for a level 1 moose. It is more fun to actually find matches in the shop rather than just freezing during the shopping part of the game :). If you have a lvl 2 moose it makes a lot more sense to just be freezing but once again potentially not as fun

Idea: grizzly, whale, honey bear, whale (with higher attack), bacteria.
Bacteria gets eaten first, gives everyone weak.
Honey bear gets eaten, gives your team honey
Honey gives lots of attacks to trigger the grizzly
I feel you should roll a couple times with the moose before starting freezing. You are ending turns with a few gold regardless and rolling multiple times with a frozen shops.
The level 1 moose buff is too little to freeze your shop for. Try and get more moose in the shop instead of freezing from the start of the round.

The fish gives 1-1 buff at lvl 2 so it wouldnt make sense for it to give 3-3 at lvl 3
