I am so happy you made a video on this game, I have played it for a while and it was completely dead. There were never any multiplayer matches open, so I beat the whole game solo so it makes me happy to see a video made on it.
*runs around every room on final level to aggro everyone and their mom*
*Complains that there's too much stun locking*
This is one of my favorite games, I remember spend couple month in it, just chilling and destroying mobs.
if you liked this, try almost any other roguelite (or roguelike), this isn't even one of the best ones! Don't get me wrong I love Lost Castle, but it pales in comparison to some of the others.

I think you could have one that last fight. Almost every time he used his ground explosion, you were against a wall or in a corner, greatly limiting your chance to evade. And when he does his beam attack, he holds it for several seconds, and I'm pretty sure you could have gotten in a few attacks instead of fleeing to the corner where your attempts at healing were often undone by being unable to dodge the ground explosions.
Cool looking game, I like the monsters designs, the gear variety was nice too.

Wander is playing the Quaffomancer, you have to have endlessly swallow food to use magic. Would make a good D&D character as well

Yeah it's a really nice roguelike, my friends and I found and played it ~4 months ago, so we were rather late with it as well. I can highly recommend multiplayer!

Edit: well maybe that wouldn't work if any average mage can summon food (to put in barrels and candlesticks of course)
Also, I can see how the leader gobbo became the leader, what with the eternal apples and all. I could totally see the goblins being like 'I hate eating apples most meals a day with only apple juice and cider to drink, but it's better that dying from the Dry Season's famines.'

this game became succesful enough that they made a sequel. i think theres even a demo now on steam

I just found a deck builder roguelike on mobile it's free and it's called dungeon tales and it's quite cheap to remove ads like 3 bucks
Literally just a worse Slay the Spire. Try Pirate Outlaws if you like that sorta game tho. only 99 cents and has a PVP mode.

I enjoyed Dungeon Tales, but I always thought it could use some more content. If they added a premium expansion with more chapters and character classes, I'd definitely buy it. To their credit, the mage character is quite unique and versatile.

As a counter opinion, me and my friends *DID NOT* enjoy this game. I wouldn't recommend it.
We put about 7 hours into in co-op and at some point we realized it just wasn't fun.
As the game dragged on, it felt like a slog and a grind but the **wrong** kind of grind with a lot of BS and stuff tacked on.
Your mileage may vary but I still joke with my friends that buying copies of this game for $20 (full price at the time) each was a giant mistake.
On the flipside, we played the co-op demo of Monster Hunter Rise and we are getting that on release day on PC so yeah.

I played the s.... out of this game with a friend back in the days.
Kinda hardcore game but looks great.
Funny thing, this game wasn't so good before, it was really unbalanced with melee weapons being the worst choice, cause they didn't have evasion abilities and it sucked to fight monsters in close combat, as for difficulty curve, the last area is unbalanced due to the fact that the last boss is a real pain, and it supposedly prepares you for that, I mean, 2 bosses in a row with second one having 2 phases, 3 bosses if you're playing on nightmare difficulty, you can guess who the third boss is, you were also pretty lucky with bosses before the final one, always got the easy ones, and yes, there are hard bosses that you can encounter.

The reason Wander cannot use a melee weapon is because he's too much of a snob.
I tried to play it and like it but it's unbalanced mainly of enemy's overhyped HP bar and gets annoying fast . Rampage knights is older game and mae way better would recommend to try it out !
