Thanks very much for clearing up the combust issue. I was born May 24, (in Los Angeles), so my yearly chart / solar return has this happening in my 11th house, as a Leo rising. I was wondering about the effects. If I'm correct Venus is also combust the Sun on May 24; so we look to where Libra and Taurus are in the chart for effects? Is a solar return chart given much weight in Vedic astrology?... I know Dasa/Bhukti are weighted heavily. Thanks for your suggestions also!

I understand Vedic astrology is based on the visibility of planets in the sky which is why combust is a layer Vedic astrology considers while not so much in western. When it comes to the outer planets (Uranus and Neptune) it hasn’t really been adopted too much in Vedic astrology. From my understanding Uranus can actually be seen in the night sky faintly through the naked eye but not Neptune so I would think Uranus has more impact. I am a Scorpio Ascendant and currently going through my Sun Mahadasha-Jupiter Antardasha which is why I’m watching this transit very closely. Hmm that is very interesting about the yoga you mentioned about faster or slower planets placed before a planet. In my natal chart I have Sun in 6th house Aries, and Venus 7th house Taurus. Venus is a fast moving planet in comparison to Sun so would that mean Sun blocks relationships and marriages for me? Also when it comes to transit over planets is it more significant when the transiting planet is at exact degrees over natal planet? Certain dates I am watching is when Sun is in exact degrees over my natal Venus in a few weeks and Jupiter will be exact degrees over my natal Venus in the first week of June.
In your case they are in different houses do are not in a yoga. We don’t look at Uranus and Neptune in the birth chart but, I do believe their transit has long term impact. Its a cycle.
