Assalamalekum! Sheikh Mishaary Alafasy's voice leaves me spell-bounded every time i hear his recitation of the holy Quran! What grace Allah has shown unto him!May he always remain blessed by the most merciful Allah! ! i cry upon hearing himand i am a guy who never used to cry over anything before my awakening ! I urge every muslim to offer the salah as directed by allah! please,my fellow muslims dont befool yourselves ! thank u and for non muslims,may allah guide u to the right path!

Al Afasay has introduced new style in recitation. He has brough more melody in recitation. My all time favourite Qari was Sheikh Baset Abdus Samad before but now I have 2 all time favourite Qaris.

There a guy just behind the quari... Is it allow to hold the Holy Quran and to follow in the namaz? And Sheik Mishary Rashid is in which group? I mean sunni, or shiite another. Can anyone please respond to it. Am a bit lost
@sonfromheaven I dont think we should say "lucky" because Muslims dont believe in luck, try to use words like fortunate and blessed. Allah knows best =).
@2012yali perhaps so , we have different mazhab. this maybe to avoid from the Imam from error reading... So he has to check it , because he does not memorize that Surah.. wallahu'alam.
