It's weird in the beginning I thought Five would have a closer relationship with Vanya but as the story progressed, that wasn't the case.

I think the idea was that they were closest as kids, and when he disappeared Vanya truly was alone. When he came back, so much time had passed that they weren’t the same people anymore and didn’t know how to pick up that relationship (sibling) again.
Saaaame they episode one seemed almost like they were going to have some chemistry or at least a friend ship but it was never expanded upon after that. In the comics Diego has a crush on Vanya soo we will se in season 2
The best scenes are between Klaus and Number Five. They play off each other really well.

I read somewhere that he really doesn't like doing interviews and finds them boring and useless. Don't qoute me on that tho cus I can't remember where I read that and I may be wrong.

When I first saw the trailer for this show I honestly thought it was the same actor
I keep hearing that but I just don’t see it.
Said the same thing to my wife when we were watching it.
This interviewer did a great job. The interview seemed to flow naturally and smoothly with the cast. Really great questions and none of those awkward moments throughout 😆
I thought so, too! Not the same boring thing but actual questions for actors and their process. Well done her, because you can tell they were more excited to answer. Wish more of them did that. Though I have to admit I like the cheesy games because the actors are having fun/get competitive. 😜
it's trippy when you're watching an interview and two minutes in you realize the interviewer was your college professor. she asks the unique questions and gets to the core of a lot of actor decisions to characterization on the screen. the dynamic between them all seems well thought on and I feel (spoilers) hopeful that the actors will be back for next season. As much as the young TUA cast is brilliant, Ellen and Robert brought so much depth to such relatable characters.

There are times I have a hard time watching interviews because for some reason the interviewer makes me uncomfortable or awkward. But this interviewer is awesome! Her questions are so intriguing and detailed! I love it!
I love how all of the actors kinda have characteristics of their characters. Like Aidan honestly could be five, klaus's actor who I can't remember the name of feels like him and I think that's what makes this show so awesome

Yes! Casting plays such a huge role! Haha no pun intended. I have disliked movies because of bad casting and seen others succeed because they picked the right person(s) and some of it is just lucky and amazing chemistry. For example I always thought "10 Things I Hate About You" has this vibe where you can tell everyone was having a great time on set.
Or when you hear Will Smith was almost Neo in "The Matrix" instead of Keanu Reeves...? So weird. I love Will Smith but that would have been a completely different movie.

i think the vanya / five relationship is interesting because they build it up for them to be close but they really aren’t. i feel like vanya was waiting for so long for five to return, whereas five gave up. when five came home, he was relieved but preoccupied so vanya felt that she had wasted her energy on five, hence why we never saw them being close other than a few odd scenes.
I have always loved Ellen Page and seeing her in this was amazing, same for Robert, I remember watching him as Simon in the Mortal Instruments movie. Amazing acting
I don’t know, it’d be nice if she was more tolerant of others and less hateful, kind of ruins it for me.

The actor choices for this show are so good, like you can see all the actors dress exactly like their characters, plus some of their personalities are even similar out of character (e.g Robert Sheehan being just as chaotic as Klaus)

I loved this show, I literally watched the whole thing without stopping. And Klaus is hands down my favorite character I love how lighthearted and carefree he is. Honestly, it’s probably my current favorite show. And I just love how diverse the characters are.
I guess I just love everything about this show😂. It was really well done and can’t wait for season two!!

The Hazel /Cha Cha dance scene was fantastic, and kuddos to the editors, I think the killed it throughout the show, but that scene especially how it's cuts was insane and awesome.

I love the comics but I really glad they changed some things for the show bc if they had just exactly turned the comics into a show it would be too crazy
the characters are definitely more well-rounded in the show than in the comics. i love the comics, but it’s tough for the writer to develop six different characters when he can only spend 80-something comic pages (like 50 minutes at average reading speed) with them per volume. the show has the luxury of being much longer

I didn't realize the Hazel actor also played Kemper in Mindhunter. While watching this interview, I was like "Why is he giving me the creeps? Hazel don't usually give me the creeps", and only when he mentioned the Mindhunter that I realized it's because his mannerism reminds me of Kemper.
