      Thanks so much. I'm glad you had the chance to do the Newfoundland trip and glad you enjoyed it so much. I hope you do the Quebec one, too. Thanks for posting.

    Excellent work repairing those flats. That's experience and and good kit working together for sure. Me and a buddy are headed up this way to do the Gaspe portion of the Trans Quebec Trail. We leave next weekend. 7 days on the KLR and DR 650. Great video. Cheers!

    Very nice. Looks like a fun time. I was out for a long ride last month . The flat ferry visited my friends pioneer twice within a couple km half way through the trip. 9 plugs later and 5 air ups we made it back to the camper .

      You never know when the Flat Fairy is going to visit. It's a good thing you were prepared with plugs and an air compressor. Thanks for postin!

    Great video and a few helpful tips like the extra gas cap

      @EastCoastATV  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks. Yeah who knew a gas cap would be an issue? If you buy a spare make sure it fits your machine, not all gas caps are standard size.

    my personal rule when gassing up, is to always put the gas cap in your front pocket of your pants / shorts so don't lose the cap, or forget to put it back on.

    Why you are not using the liquid flat tire on your trip? It will help to colmat holes.... I love your trip..

    Just curious. You mention to go to your website to get the information etc and if we download your GPX it does not match the video series you have posted here. Different route and hotels.
    Why such the change

    • @EastCoastATV
      @EastCoastATV  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I didn't post my actual tracks because of the issues we ran into with closed trails etc. I didn't want anyone else to run into that, so I posted tracks a friend of mine made the week before on a slightly different trip. Here is my actual trails if you want to see them www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mid=1npk_Td5hlrYF41XL1E4KCVxa97xJO9U&usp=sharing

      @EastCoastATV Ahh I see.. Well thank you for the update. I have done the NFLD run thanks to your guidance and tracks. Gaspe is much closer to us so this year we will be tackling it. We have a 1000mile 7 day loop we made up here in Ontario which we will be making public soon. Not sure if that is to far for your group to go or not. We have move than one loop. One being more beginner and the other more advanced. We would rank Gaspe and NFLD as beginner for sure. The advanced loop is more like 500 miles but will still take 7 days to complete.
      Look forward to see where you go this year.

    The thought of losing a gas cap horrifies me.
    Was there a brand name of vehkcle that didnt require rad cleaning?

    • @EastCoastATV
      @EastCoastATV  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's a crappy feeling losing a gas cap. Luckily we had enough plastic and zip ties to cover them. Some guys didn't wash their rads all week. Mine was good after the first time I sprayed it but I did every chance I got after that just to be on the safe side.
