      @@lyadhkhorcyclechalai69 at first Arnold mentioned Historical Estimate as false estimate,we should not follow that but when he says about "disinterestedness": Being an impartial and just reader. And then he mentions some canon writer's works ....The problem is the name of the works that he mentioned that is also based on historical estimate...So his ideas become contradict...Got it??

    You said that arnold considers criticism to be an art form...but doesnt he explicitly put criticism beneath creativity?...he says that criticism is nescessary for creativity, particularly for producing an environment conducive for creativity...however you did elaborate on the topic in a later section under the differences between creative and critical faculty....so why this statement earlier?
