Nuremberg Trial Day 146 (1946) Gen. Alfred Jodl Direct Dr. Franz Exner (AM )

The Morning Session of June 4, 1946 at the Nuremberg Trial saw a continuation of the personal Defense Case of Gen. Alfred Jodl. He testified that Hitler had wanted him to sign the Commando Order where all commandos were to be shot upon capture. He refused and subsequently sent out a directive for commandos treated as a pow. He further testified that he had not the slightest notion of death and terror in the concentration camps or extermination of the Jews.
