The main difference between them is that Shogun uses a polearm when she fights, while Ei uses a sword (specifically, her sister Makoto's sword). A better phrasing of the question would be something like: 'What is the real name of the current Electro Archon?' Which would have the answer be Raiden Ei (or Beelzebub, but that wasn't an option).
