This scene broke my heart and it's horrible to think millions of boys have been through this and this sort of crime. The look on Brody's face when he hugged Ollie looked like he was sad (because he though he was the only one being abused but was wrong) and happy (because he doesn't have to bear the pain of what he went through no longer). If Hollyoaks and the actors don't win an award for this storyline then it will be a crime.
This is the most powerful abuse storyline after Brendan's in 2012-2013. Well done, HO! ❤️

Not if Buster`s defense finds out about this meting, and can use it to paint it like Brody went to see Ollie to get Ollie to accuse Buster instead of Scott, so Scott would be out of suspicion. Should this meeting be known, Buster not only likely would have been acquitted - but Brody could have been charged with attemepted corruption of justice, making false allegations of sexual abuse, wrongful accusations against an innocent person and more. Risking serious time in jail, should he be convicted. And with Ollie as his only evidence, he quite possible would have been convicted.
Had Brody and Ollie gone to the police independent of each other, or if the police had become aware of the other after having discovered photos in Buster`s home as a result of the claims made by the first of them, the fact both the nature of the abuse and the grooming technique was the same, would have strengthened both of their claims of abuse. But now when they have met prior to reporting abuse, that leaves the chance the allegations could be false.
So from a legal point of view, this was not very smart of Brody. Instead placed both the case against Buster, and Brody`s own freedom, in serious jeopardy.
Proud of them both. Great actors too :)
I know often comments are disabled,and for valid reason,one abused need not see hateful ones. But thankfully most are good here,and I watch this and man I miss my Salvatore. He was drugged,taken,and well I am without him now. It has been years ,but it still hurts,so I see Brody and Ollie ,and it is real not fiction. If we seem insular,almost standoffish,there is a reason. But I knew maintenance of a few close people the key,and Survivors Manchester has been amazing.
I feel sorry for Scott , he got punched by like for no reason , Olly just needs to stop lying cause it’s not the first time that he lied and blamed Scott

I feel like these British soaps always have awesome storyline. Mainly because they focus on mental health in men and I don't see many American shows, or soaps, doing that.

Come on lads please team up and bring that sick freak buster down if you guys speak up others might follow to back you up. This is so moving though these actors are amazing and I hope they both know this I feel like I'm right there with them feeling all that emotion I don't cry alot on TV shows and that but this is making me we up so badly. Half from their amazing acting and how we they are portraying this story line and the emotion that goes with it and half because the thought this sort of crap happens in real life makes me do sick and sad that these abusive sobs exsit in real life and actually put people through this .

Buster sexually abused Ollie using his authority as a trainer or manager? Brody was also sexually abused by Buster when he was younger under the same circumstances emotionally manipulating their vulnerability as young men. Both of them were victims. This storyline has been ongoing for more than a month now.
