The foot should always be up when threading or you will get a birds nest of thread . Putting the foot in the raised position allows the thread to go in-between the tensioner discs.

Wondering if this machine can do embroidery with darning pressor foot or not? Can the dog teeth plate be lowered to allow free motion of fabric?

I don't think that's possible. First of all, there is no mechanism to keep the dog teeth plate down, nor is there any kind of cover to put over it…

La compre y no sirve
Solo. Cosí una prenda y se hizo bolas el hilo en la parte de abajo
Son piezas plasticas se rompen o no funcionan, el portabobina no funciona, son máquinas desechables porque no tienen ni refacciones, no la recomiendo
