If you are planning to stay more than 90 days and using local number, you have to register the imei of your phone and pay the tax. Otherwise you can not use your phone

There is an easier way.. if your like me a foreigner living here with a local missus. Buy a local phone register it in your girlfriend or wife's name with a local sim card

If i didnt do at airport and my phone is less than 500$ .. i will pay any tax at customs in denpasar or no ? Coz some people say only u get 500$ discount at arrival when u register in airport
if you phone less than 500 usd then you pay 0 .. but must still report if you want to use local number more than 90 days .. if you already out of airport, and already more than 5 days, then there is no discount. and yes still must report if you want to use local number.. or just buy cheap android around USD 100 for your local number

@@elilias7361 im3 you should register but smartfren not, to my experience. you borrow the ktp from someone and than you register. bring your passport as well. maybe you can get the number on your name with your passport. try all providers available.
