Minecraft is good but I can't play it after playing Vintage Story. Vintage Story just feels like Minecraft the way I always wanted it to be. In the defence of Minecraft I got to say they're mods that you can't really find alternatives for. Like Scape and run: parasites, Create, some other mods that mimic Factorio. Minecraft also has a mod for every popular game in existence. Still if we're talking about vanilla I just can't play it after seeing Terraria and Vintage Story. It's like playing Tetris after Elden Ring.
It's unique in a sense, it's in alpha or beta I don't remember but it has it's first chapter finished. It's harder than Minecraft but in a right kind of way and it gets repetitive a bit in a lategame since you can't fully automate food production (which is less noticeable in multiplayer), and you need tons of stuff to fight the first chapter boss or do it in several trips. But again, this is what I lacked in Minecraft, knowing that you put in tons of work into something. Iron in this game is actually a lategame resource, we got it only after a month of playing. My proudest achievement in Vintage Story was building a huge Windmill on my own. It took me a real life week. I also feel it's much more fun in multiplayer in comparison to Minecraft. Each player matters much more because health regeneration is really slow. Armour slows you down so if you're fighting alone you're much more likely to get surrounded and killed. Honestly it's hard to describe every little detail that feels just right about this game. It's like if Minecraft had a modpack but that modpack was super optimised and worked perfectly well improving the game in almost every aspect.
I feel this video will blow up.
That would be insane
peak video 10/10
I'm glad it was peak

That is a valid opinion. I've never played Vintage Story, sounds like it might be something I wanna try out.
