Lac du Brevent and Col de Bel Lachat - Hiking French Alps

This time, with the help of a cable car, we went to Le Brevent (2525m). From there, there was an easy hike down to the beautiful Lake Brevent. We stayed there for about an hour, had a quick swim, and had a snack. Moving on, we arrived at the Col de Bel Lachat, an idyllic mountain pass with delightful views of the Mont Blanc massif. From the pass, it is only a 20-minute walk to the refuge, and from there, it is about a two-hour steep hike down to the Chamonix Valley.
