I think would be interesting to have different type of countries divided in autonomus regions, like once it was the German Empire, with all the kingdom and the free city. Or also having different, autonomus states in the US
@@Jay_Johnson Kind of, I thought dividing a county in different states with their own goverments, but influenced by the main one in the capital. Like how was Austria-Hungary with 2 parlaments one for Austria and the other for the Kingdom of Hungary but having the same foreign policy. It's not like you start playing as the vassal nation, but more like you as nation have to deal with the regional goverments and if you piss them off enough they may rebel and you play with as them to get independent or staying the main and granting more authonomy or crushing them

You dont actually have to reset the building production methods manually, there is a new button in the state actions tab. It changes the methods to the most common in your country
Might not be to important, but west prussia has a terrain effect that boost your shipyard effiency, so it is a little bit more efficient to build it there. I have to admit i was a bit disapointed when you as a prussia enjoyer build the shipyard in pommerania

Never realized that by using obligation during diplomatic play, you reset the attitude. Formed Super Germany as Austria in 1.1, was very lucky. Always enjoy watching your videos.
I feel like services is a good consumer tax because the prices dont fluctuate as much as other stuff so the tax has less potential to cause major damage and services are usually pretty cheap because the resources to upgrade the urban centers and produces more services (at least early upgrades) are pretty common and cheap. At 200 authority its defo not the most cost-effective though.
If you can and have time in any Victoria 3 video, could you explain how the hell works the dam trains in the late game? Its like ok every province need a lot of extra infrastructure but nobody wants more transportation tickets so if you want to keep growing up you have to subsidize or just die for lack for low market access (and this happens when you have a LOT of pop).
You should probably change the production method of your trains to freight focus. This leads to less tickets produced and more infrastructure so you need overall less trains I think.
Meanwhile, the casual Austria player formed super Germany in 1846 with the addition of Texas, Switzerland, and more colonies. Just with 100 infamy, which may go away somehow (a bug or some event/decision, I am not sure but it happens)
have they done something about wellfare? i played as great britain and incoperated a big chunk of africa. But because of high wages and competition in my factories, the minimum standard of living increased faster than i could build workplaces in africa to alleviate the employment shortage. I ended up paying around 10 million in wellfare payments alone, and when i removed wellfare my people started to rebel. I don't know how you can see where people are below the standard of living and which class is most affected (couldn't find a map mode for it). Is it intended and you just have to be careful how much you incorporate? or is it an issue the developers have to do something about?
I cant believe still being unable to give land to allies/subjects, even through wargoals. I love playing master of puppets in these games. It would be great to be able to liberate self-governing colonies, specially in africa.
I vaguely get South America but I sure as hell hope that the Sulawesi change doesn't apply for Indonesian nations, honestly a kind of weird way to try and balance things.

Without colonization, Germany will miss out on many important goods and, most importantly early gold mines. I understand what devs were thinking but there should be some way to do it.
Am I the only one to feel that removing hard requirement to own Alsace (from Vic2) massively trivialized forming Germany? Not to mention that in Vic3 you can even get France to support you in this too
I definitely tried to do this months ago and could not get the Austria bit. Didn't realize you could cheese someone into better "positive relations" by making them join a play with an obligation versus trying to use the obligation to compel agreements. Gotta circle back to Vicky 3 sometime soon, thanks for the vid Ludi!
Luxembourg and Holstein had their opinion of you lowered when you attacked a neighboring state, causing them to no longer support your claim to form super Germany.
You could attack and vassalize Denmark at the start of the game. That way Schleswig and Holstein will support you no matter what. The infamy will tick down until you unite Germany. Only downside is that it might lower the opinion of some northern german states a bit.
I'm surprised you didn't lunch a unification play. Basically it's a special diplo play on the form Germany tab that allows you to annex all the small countries without forming Germany yet

@@LudietHistoria I got Pan-Nationalism and it let me form Germany but NEVER got any federation events. I also can't take anything from Austria as I formed Germany
@@LudietHistoria I don't think it's bugged as much as they changed the way to do it. I have All of the North German Federation in early 41 and I think I can get all of South Germany before 43 now. They just changed the way to do it.

You can unify germany without forming germany in a diplomatic play, so you can have all of germany in 1940 and start to improve relations with austria to form super germany... The counter side is that you gonna lose some relation with austria
Well this is clearly not working with Ver 1.2.7 on 4 April/23. I have been improving relations with Austria from the start. Its now 1844 and they are still rivalling me, and damaging relations.
ludi you just using 324/520 of your construction capasity if if you use all of it you will lose 8k every week so 50 more sectors will make you lose 608k every week at the they all working
