Legend has it, if you say "Send Hook" a sixth time despite Taz's warning, the lights will flicker out and when they come on Hook will appear behind you and apply the Redrum on you
Too young for wcw ecw but as a kid. His entrance as surprise challenge for kurt angle at the 2000 royal rumble i think it was. Very epic. Squashed Angle. My fave ppv. Those lifelong childhood memories
Taz choosing confrontation right off the bat, excellent. I don't think I've laughed more during any other episode. Just wonderful, especially the finish. The best content AEW puts out that isn't in the ring.
For the love of God, please keep "Hey Eeeeew" going. I stopped watching wrestling about 9 years ago and AEW and these segments have *finally* got me back into it.
5:35 Taz almost misses the Bayonne joke and immediately loops back 🤣 I do hope behind the scenes these two are friendly as Taz could teach him a ton and help him make some connections.
After Taz proceeds to berate RJ for a whole minute for being all about getting himself over instead of his guests, RJ's response is "Let's talk about towels." LOLOL
Always a joy on Sunday mornings. Taz has really hit his stride on Commentary. Most Dark and Elevation matches are predictable and for good reason it's kind of the purpose. He and Excalibur make it so much fun. I enjoy their banter and when they get each other to to laugh. Suplex Jones for president.
@Matt D. of course, pre viking taz show. Taz show peaked when it was the viking, handsome johnny and some female intern who's name I cant remember but she and taz had some great comedic chemistry. It was like a great morning radio talk show but just about wrestling.
@@IMzKDC23 I remember he always did this thing where he felt dissed and he'll go "ooo right in the yam bags" and a punching sound effect would pop up lol
RJ City comparing Garden City to Brooklyn reminded me of his episode of this with Eddie Kingston (my fave ep so far) and getting that borough wrong, then saying Toronto and Buffalo are like the same city.
Thank you for bringing it back Tazz. This is priceless. This should be the promo class to teach non newyawkuhs how to immerse themselves in the art of conversation…in brooklyn. This small sample is everything I tried to tell my friends down south how we are not angry…thank you for giving me a moment to remember some of the good old days from bayridge and brighton beach. Forever grateful for seeing on screen chemistry unscripted.
You can tell how much of an effect Taz had on his crew while it lasted. Ricky just restarting the whole episode because he wasn't feeling it was such a Taz move in hindsight
Oh man. RJ is great but Taz just started wrecking him and RJ knew his roll. I love both these guys. I wasn't expecting the interview to go like this.... but it's cool that they chill out and continue. Professionals.
Just when you have seen the “best” one… Honesty one of the cool things about this series, they all feel unique and the wrestlers personalities are able to shine. This has to be the best non-wrestling wrestling show in wrestling.
Arguably RJ's toughest interview yet lol. Taz doesn't play around yo, he's a legitimate boss man, and I vividly remember Taz's stacker 2 commercial with Tony Sirico. 🖤🧡😅
Someone breaking behind the camera the entire time, Taz constantly echoing because he only yells, this is the greatest trainwreck of this trainwreck of a show
If you look in a mirror and say "send Hook" five times, Taz will appear behind you and tell you to knock that shit off.

You know it’s a good episode when you hear people in the crew laughing
FACTS😂.
Honestly my favorite part sometimes. You know it’s good when the crew is laughing.
That was going to be my comment too. Best part is how people behind the lense are snickering too 😆😆
I love how Taz is trying so hard to hate being on this show, and RJ breaks him. It’s so genuine and hilarious
Came here to say the same thing. Always nice to see tough guy Taz break and hate himself for it.
Well Said
I love how he mentions watching every episode, but then follows it with an insult lol.
I found my thrill they all almost died on Bayonne Hill
Just when I thought I couldn't like Taz any more. You can tell he's a nice guy.
Taz matches energy so god damn well with everyone.
@@TheKirbyT he sure does
He's so tall too, RJ had to put lifts in because he was so emasculated
Right Taz is a likable guy
That nigga is fucking hilarious 😂🤣😂😂🤣……best episode yet hands down
This is hilarious. Taz letting loose is a gift
You could drop the "letting loose" and still be correct. Taz is a gift, indeed.
He’s a gift, but I definitely want a gift receipt.

Loved this show. Love Taz. He’s the kind of guy you want to have join you at Thanksgiving Dinner.
*Tazzz
the crew behind the camera laughing really just puts the icing on the lovely cake that is this episode
Indeed hahaha. Taz trying not to laugh and failing is just the best
My favorite part of the ep, hands down 😄
10000%
This was absolutely gold! Taz did make me realize that we rarely ever get actual answers to questions…and funny enough, I’m quite ok with that 😂
The background laughs from the crew/watchers are great. Taz can just go.
Background laughter jones
The fact that Taz tried so hard not to break and RJ still managed to get it out of him makes it that much more impressive.
You can tell Taz absolutely enjoyed the hell out of this
Taz coming in stiff, but it was great how RJ broke him in the end. This show is my favorite part of Sunday.
the REAL human suplex machine! Taz will be forever be in my top 5 list of wrestlers
Same.

Him, Kurt, Cobb, Hiroshi Hase, Gary Albright etc. these are all Masters of the Suplex💪🏽

Taz cutting loose is great. Clearly that’s where Hook gets his personality.
The way Taz says, 'arse', brings a smile on my face.
lmfaoo taz trying not to break character by getting mad is hilarious 😂
For the love of God, please keep "Hey Eeeeew" going.

Taz and Excalibur are the golden duo of commentary at AEW, I understand why they can't solo Dynamite but if they did I would be so happy.
"Im actually in a good mood today.. BUT I'm in a rush, so Let's Go!" - Taz 😂😂😂
Followed by, "I don't care. I'll talk as long as I want"!
RJ City is a classy man, who can appreciate the finer things in life, like S-Club 7.

Taz getting offended at EVERYTHING RJ said has made me laugh the most this entire year. This man is a national treasure.
I miss Taz old podcast man I used to listen to it everyday on my way to college.
I used to listen to it too... I remember whenever he has to drink water there's this music that plays every time 😅
The Taz show was so damn good. I miss handsome johnny and the viking

This was a great show. Taz & RJ need to work together more often.
That part about Jim Powers was hilarious 😂😂
How is it that every episode of Hey EW tops the last one?
Just phenomenal stuff.
Amazing, Taz is a treasure. The chemistry amongst RJ and Taz is great. It’s like a old time goofy straight man team brilliant stuff.
Thanks!
I miss The Taz Show on CBS Sports Radio, I miss the captain (BUY A HAT!) I miss everything about the podcast please come back.
Oh I'm definitely going to need to see Excalibur on Hey! EW
I love Taz! Quick wit, funny, great voice!
7:35 that "no" from Taz killed me.
This is even better the second time around!
The Stacker 2 joke deserves way more recognition for how brilliantly hilarious it is
RJ City comparing Garden City to Brooklyn reminded me of his episode of this with Eddie Kingston (my fave ep so far) and getting that borough wrong, then saying Toronto and Buffalo are like the same city.
Taz should sell the "Taz Show" podcast to TK and have Taz and RJ be the hosts because this is GOLD!
No One Cares🤣🤣🤣
Remember that sound effect
The freakin high five hand grab 😆

Taz is not having it at all. Taz is still my favorite today. I am loving this interview 1 billion percent. Tell him Taz!
Loved Taz as a competitor he's better now personality and he was the 1st with the black towel
Seeing Taz with RJ City brings back memories of him ragging on Michael Cole on SmackDown.
When he peeled each finger off the high five 😂😂😂😂😂
I love Taz. Hook has a great dad.
Eddie Kingston's enjoyment of this interview even happening is what brought me here.
I watch these every week and they are always great. I love how Taz got at him the whole interview.
This is the greatest!!! I’ve been waiting for this episode. I also love how much Taz is heeling it up but also has seen every episode 🤣
Red Hook is changing so fast! It used to be a rough and tough part of Brooklyn. Taz knows a bit about that part of New York.
So Good! RJ has his own piece of the wrestling world carved with these "tiny" gems...every time. Gold.
Can’t wait to see rj city on the Jericho cruise 2024. Would love to see the legend taz too
Taz is frigging brilliant. This was the only episode that caught my attention and man, this is comedy GOLD!
taz refusing to sell rj's jokes at the beginning just makes this that much funnier
The chemistry here is ridiculously good. Taz has grown to be one of the most entertaining people not only in wrestling but life in general
I love Taz so much. Him and Excalibur are one of my favourite things about AEW
God, I love Taz even more now in this older fun-loving, but crotchety capacity. 😂
