Agree, but would add that should be taught is every home and every school, secular or Christian. We have to learn the history of man, history of culture, history of war. We learn births and deaths of men and their influences of music, nations, and cultures. Why not learn about the God Man whose birth and death are so important that human time is established upon those dates. 😊
Why are Christian children being taught that they’ve evolved from Neanderthals when there isn’t a shred of evidence for it, in fact the mountain of evidence proves that’s it’s nothing more than a deception and in many cases a hoax
I was so blessed by this podcast that I'm listening to it again. I have learned so much from Frank and Bill over the last several years. May God continue to use these men for His glory!
Thank you SO much! Having heard for *years* that "Christmas isn't really Jesus' birthday", It has affected how I have felt about celebrating the 24:th/ 25:th. So I am SO grateful for the *strong reasons* we have to celebrate His birth on Christmas! I wish you Joy and Peace. ✨🕊️
I’ve been asking and praying to God for many years to give me answers on these specific discussions. The elaboration and every details are amazingly described even with years and rulers of the land during those days. This informations is very important to me and answered lots of questions that I had. I’ve learned so much in an hour and 14 minutes than the last 20 years of my life 😂 Best Christmas present I’ve got this year. God answers all prayers and request. It might not be the exact time you expect it to be answered but it’s always come at the perfect time. Thank you Frank. Merry Christmas and God bless you all.
I absolutely love listening to this podcast every year before Christmas! It also helps Christians be informed and combat so much of the anti-christianity myths out there about Christmas. Thank you
This is the very first time I'm getting an explanation/proof why Christmas is really Dec 25th. Before now, it's been cos of the mass believe of it. Thank you wonderful teachers fir this light you've shone on my understanding about this subject. God richly bless you Both ❤️🙇♀️🙏
Nothing wrong with celebrating Christmas if it’s about Christ and Christ only… the problem is ma y want to add all these worldly and pagan themes to a day that should be only for the Lord… and teaching their families and kids about Christ and His gospel… and not things like the fake santa and elf on the shelf and whatever other nonsense they have going on now a days. Just like when they make Easter about bunnies and eggs and not Christ… that’s when it turns pagan and not Christian
Thank you, brothers, this made my heart incredibly happy! I may have celebrations of Jesus’ birthday on any random day, just because I’m so grateful for the appearing of God in flesh that not only fulfilled hundreds of years of prophetic scripture, but also gives us confidence that the rest of scripture will be fulfilled!!! Also-God becoming man, living among us as one of us, being tempted in every way as we are in our flesh and yet resisting, even going to the humiliation of death on a cross so that His sinless blood could pay the debt for sin that I could never pay….well that’s worthy of celebration by man any time it is remembered! Thanks be to God for this indescribable Gift, a babe lying in a manger! What a great kindness our God, our Creator, our Redeemer has shown us, what great and tender love and mercy! I never get enough of learning of Him, cannot wait to see Him face to face, see Jesus in all His glory when my sin nature is gone and I am able to see Him as He is! Thank you, brothers, for the scholarship that you have endeavored to bring to bear on so many things about my savior, for making Him known more plainly and more clearly to us all. What a precious time of the year! Merry Christmas!
The January 6th date is the same date as December 25th, using a different calendar. The Julian calendar is used by some Orthodox and the Gregorian calendar is used by other Orthodox Churches. The difference for the dates is the difference in the calendars.
The priestly course of Jehoyorab mentioned as that during the destruction of the 2nd temple in the Talmud is speculative. The Talmud was referring to an oral tradition which was actually referring to the destruction of the 1st temple. And 25th Dec stands solely on this: "Whence do we know that the second Temple was also destroyed on the 9th of Abh? We have learned in a Boraitha: "A happy event is credited to the day on which another happy event happened, while a calamity is ascribed to the day when another calamity occurred; and it was said that when the first Temple was destroyed it was on the eve preceding the 9th of Abh, which was also the night at the close of the Sabbath and also the close of the Sabbatical year. The watch at the time was that of Jehoyoreb, and the Levites were chanting in their proper places, at that moment reciting the passage [Psalms, xciv. 23]: "And he will bring back upon them their own injustice, and in their own wickedness will he destroy them"; and they did not have time to end the passage, which concludes, "yea, he will destroy them--the Lord our God," before the enemy entered and took possession of the Temple. This happened also at the destruction of the second Temple."
The X in Xmas actually stands for Christ in Greek, Christos or Χριστός. In the Greek word “fish” we find Christ, ιχθύς , ΙΧΘΥΣ , pronounced ichthus, each letter was an acronym or acrostic for “Jesus Christ God’s son savior“
7:02 Yes we are told about the priestly protocols in Exodus 29:30, there it is written: “And that son that is priest in his stead shall put them on seven days, when he cometh into the tabernacle of the congregation to minister in the holy place.” Also, the logical assumption is the eighth order began on in the second month. But if it was the second time for the office to be held it would have been the 32nd week of 1 BC, from the 13th of Cheshvan (eighth month) til the 19th. Assuming Elisabeth got pregnant right away on the 20th or 21st, which we will never know, and assuming it’s not the first order, Jesus was born at the end of Tevet or the beginning of Shavat (the 10th or 11th month) around new year’s of AD 2 on the Julian and Georgian calendar, but still AD 1 on the Biblical calendar. But if the first order of 1 BC was when Zechariah had responsibility in the temple of God, it would have been in the second month of 1 BC and Jesus conceived between the seventh and eighth month, to then be born in the month of Tammuz (the 4th month), in June or July at the earliest. I wouldn’t ascribe a precise date because it is conjecture to know when an Elisabeth became pregnant and the day of intimacy between the two.
This pure speculation, using dates that are hundreds of years after the birth and death of John the Baptist is just pure speculation. The Bible shows that John was born around March-April
Are you going to respond to Rationality Rules recent video where his entire video regarding Frank Turek+infinity is a category error? There is a significant difference between how infinity is understood in mathematics and in theology. As a result, that video is very flawed, it's a category error. The idea of "adding to infinity" in the theological sense does not work in the same way as in mathematics. In the video, logic is discussed, but this is a very simple observation that he overlooked.
How about the part where Joseph is told in a dream to take Mary and baby Jesus and flee to Egypt because Herod was coming to kill baby Jesus, instead Harod kills every child under the age of two? Was that part great? Think of the lives that would have been saved if the Angel went to Herod instead. Good thing there is zero evidence this actually happened 👍🏻
Can you imagine how many lives would have been saved should those women had chosen to be a mother and not arbitrarily Ƙ¡££ their unborn child through abortion? Wrap your mind around that for a minute, Contrarian. Human beings considered as nothing more than a hindrance, becoming 'collateral damage' in this thing we call life. But that's life, isn't it, contrarion! Who do you think the real beasts of the animal kingdom are, pal?
You are assuming that Harod would have listened to any dream God could have given him. If he was like you he would have turned a deaf ear to any evidence God gave him.
@@viccigates3756Great point! Unfortunately, there are those who hate God and somehow think they can put Him on trial. They also make ignorant and unfair assumptions about Him that will lead to their eternal damnation if they don't repent of their sin and rebellion and turn to Christ.

He was not born in December. Thats a lie
