Narco-Saints is really more like a 6 hour film than a series. Bright artistic victory.

they call it a mini series. most real life stories are told in mini series which are most often than not limited to one season with few episodes
Just finish watching it, and oh my gawd it's so good. I was hooked, nervous, and anxious on how the ending will be for the characters. It's so moving at the same time entertaining. Hwang Jung Min really sets the bar high one of my favorite korean actors since New World, Jo Woo Jin is also a great actor as well as Ha Jung Hwoo as always a devoted father just like his role in Chronicles of Blood Merchant. GREAT SHOW TO BINGE WATCH AND TO LEARN ABOUT SOME HISTORY. WISH IT WAS LONGER. CANT CONTAIN HOW MUCH I LOVE THIS SHOW 😭😭😭😭💕💕💕💕💕
This is exactly how I feel. It was so nerve wracking I had to pause so many times. I am obsessed and watching it again.

Park Haesoo is brilliant again after Squid Game and Korean version of Casa de Papel. However, the absolute winner this time is Cho Woojin. 모든 배우들 다 연기력 출중하지만 최고는 조우진.. 조배우님 연기에 감탄을 금치못했습니다! 글로벌 흥행 가자!

Hwang Jung-min is absolutely stunning as the main villain and narco baron. I hated him so much while watching it. it says he did a great job here. Hope he will get an award for this character

Una escena de esta serie se grabó en mi universidad... no saben la emoción que sentí al ver el edificio de la Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud de la Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo en la serie... JAJAJA lo veo todos los días pero en ese momento se veía impresionante XD como dominicana, fue una experiencia interesante.
Me encantó.
Yo esperaba la serie desde que estuvieron filmado en la ave Venezuela. No tenía tan buenas expectativas cuando note que no estaba teniendo tanta publicidad. Pero tengo que decir que me gustó mucho más de lo que esperaba, me emocione en cada escenario de mi país que reconocía.
Je, je, je...Estuve como extra en esta serie, y fui una de las que se ven en la fila de la votación. Excelente actuación de todos. Grandísimos actores. Me inclino ante todos ellos. Fue una muy hermosa experiencia. Y me siento orgullosa de que se haya filmado acá en República Dominicana. Es tan tal que aparece una botella de presidente😁😁. Y fue gracias a mi sobrina que estudia cinematografía en la UASD que nos envió para el casting.

Thank you 4 the great Dominicans style of hospitality. I went there in December 2022 for 1 week and it was wonderful. Haha. Flew over from Asia almost 1 day journey on plane.😂🤣
This show for me is a topnotch. well thought out and written in all regards. Great cast for each role, very believable and intense. Great job! Would be surprised if it didn't get as much if not more recognition as Squid Game.
I watched all episodes last night. OMG, I really loved this show, well made, with acting, screen script, and editing. Love all the actors. Based on a true story but you touched up and re-created it to a really interesting story. Hope this gets the next Emmy 2023!!!

A wonderful actor can make you believe anything
Even tho they filmed many scenes in my country, they weren't close to my area, but I loved the scene were Ingu was drinking beer at a restaurant. I was surprised to see him at Allegra. I love that place!

Best series on Netflix hands down I gave it a rewatch twice. The writing is 10/10 and made me feel for Ingu by the end
i actually feel the fact that the NIS was behind the fall of his business and made him a promise , it was very self centered of them to want to give him karaoke bars instead if the money he was promised

As a Surinamese after watching it I'm upset, because Suriname has a good reputation and also the scenes aren't taken place in Suriname but somewhere else . However it's a good drama.

Each character has his own thing, very well acted, I really thought that one character was the NIS spy, and I was wrong, he was the one I had least thought of. The series is gripping and you want to know if the mission is going to be successful and if In Gu is going to get out of there alive.

to bad you they didn't shoot in Suriname that would have been way more authentic and would have looked better as well.
While I had some issues with certain choices made with this show (ie why wasn’t more emphasis put on the fact that it was a whole damn barn full of people drinking blue cocaine juice and beating each other with sticks 😭 like there was one scene where Ingu tells Agent Choi about it and he goes “CHILDREN TOO?” as if he’s gonna try and do something about it… and then the scene just cuts to something completely different and it’s never brought up again. HELLO?), I overall thought it was entertaining and that last two episodes were AMAZING. Well, except for the very end. The very end was pretty mid, but the actual operation and the reveal of who the other NIS agent was… chef’s kiss
Okay also I can’t look past the fact that they illustrated that David (who is not Korean American irl, isn’t even actually fully fluent in English, and has a very strong Korean accent) is Korean American by having him randomly switch languages mid-sentence… I cringed every time 😭 but other than that I do honestly recommend it

@@abzd6535 I think there was a misunderstanding about David Park's origins. He wasn't Korean-American (but there was one Korean article that mentioned this). What was consistent was that he was a lawyer and the brains for the ops who also spoke English.

This is based on a true event. These characters are based on real people. The main vilian, the drug king Hwang Jung-min played, is Jo Bong-haeng, and the character Ha Jung-woo played is known as Mr. K. Jo Bong-haeng died of illness while serving 10yrs sentence in prison in Korea, and Mr. K who helped the Korean NIS catch Jo Bong-haeng actually visited the shooting location. Mr.K talked to some of his friends about what he did with NIS in Suriname to catch Jo Bong-haeng but none of them believed him.

don't see why the director and writer felt the need to say that half of the population of Suriname is into selling or smuggling drugs...yes there is crime here but that is just a blatant lie. The series is good, the actors did a very good job..loved the pastor...but the drug smugglers statement is a dumbass lie...many chinese and korean live peacefully in Suriname as well together with many other ethnicities .
