Not to long ago 1000 bucks could buy you season tickets. Yankees really don't care about their working class fans. They just want that corporate money.

That’s very true and it feels like that with just about all the sports franchises at least here. I haven’t been to a Knick game at the Garden in quite a while. Don’t even ask about a Ranger game. I have to see them when y hey play the Nets at Barclay. It’s cheaper to go there, but the concessions are ridiculously expensive same with the Ranger games. I used to buy all four games when they were at the Colosseum so I could see the Rangers but never able to get them in, the garden because just too much but now with UBS Arena, I haven’t been there yet. My son has gone. He tells me it’s very expensive also like Barclays who knows when I’ll see the Rangers next, but they are definitely pricing everybody out. The baseball games are basically the easiest games to see, but this is not the norm for anybody to be able to sustain.

Last season my work (Tesla) gave me free tickets and an Uber X ride voucher to see the A's play the Yankees, but last minute me and my girlfriend opted out for a local comedy show at a brewery

Wow speaks volumes a lot of jaded fans as prices keep climbing, hope you had a great time at the show.

A thousand dollars and you're not by The Yankees dugout?! I'm going to need my money back! lol No, that's cool! Awesome angle of the game! I'm usually a sad, nose bleed ticket buyer!😭 I would've eaten two hundred worth of sushi & lobster alone and fallen asleep by the seventh inning stretch!

I ate at least that much in food LOL. Was a nice experience, but definitely not the norm was sustainable for the average working person.
