- The Prince of Wales has surprised former rugby league greats Rob Burrow and Kevin Sinfield by awarding them with their CBEs during a visit to Leeds. William met the pair at Headingley Stadium - the home of Leeds Rhinos where both men used to play.

Prince William is his own man, no one has moulded him, but he has trodden his own path, with the woman of his own choosing, and what a formible team they are. The Prince and Princess of Wales are the epitome of a true future King and Queen of the UK and the Commonwealth. Both his Father King Charles lll and the late Princes Diana can be extremely proud of the man he has become. A big thank you must go out to Mr and Mrs Middleton for raising such a beautiful daughter worthy of becoming his wife and the Mother of their adorable children. Prince William has been fortunate to have the advice and tutelage of our late beloved Queen Elizabeth ll and also his Father King Charles lll. Although there has been dark days for our Monarchy recently, we are lucky to have King Charles lll with his knowledge to correct things, knowing that he has raised a son who will be ready to pick up the baton and take the Monarchy forward into the future.

I recently congratulated the first persom I met at university on becoming Sir Alok Sharma.
Some years after university, I set off from Bradford to meet my girlfriend. We were going to go collect for charity, in her town about thirty miles away. The old ladies she kept an eye on had got too old to do it. They asked us to go instead, as we used to go and make sure they were safe anyway. We were going to Rob's estate. A work colleague of mine lived next door to him. I was thinking about seeing him and put the radio on in the car. I had been listening to Leeds v St Helens the night before on the same trip along the M62. Amazingly it was Eamonn Holmes talking to Rob. When, by chance Rob answered the door later, I told him what had happened. I said that although Leeds had been well beaten by St Helens, what happened earlier seemed so spooky, that I reckoned Leeds would get to the grand final and beat them. I should have bet on it as they did, but then again being from Bradford, betting on Leeds winning is like a Tottenham fan betting on Arsenal.
Now it is Rob raising money for charity and I wish him and Kevin all the best and please, those knighthoods, for them, the charity and their sport.

@lordhellfire7820 I think it is you who wants to seem important. There is no reason Rob should not be able to do something, with proper support. The Prince used to fly people in worse condition round the country. My wish was more that he would still be here. If travel was a problem there is such as Temple Newsam that has played the role of "palace" for the day before.

Moving around, swallowing and breathing get increasingly difficult, and treatments like a feeding tube or breathing air through a face mask may be needed. There are not ways to make someone feel comfortable if planned property. Do you want to put him to sleep while you travel that four hours? Are you going to have an anesthesiologist travel with you monitoring his vitals the entire time? Have you been to the palace? It's a big room you walk in they nod at you they pin you, You walk into several more big rooms and it's over. So you want him to travel 8 hours for 5 seconds?
@@comet1227 You seem to have no wish that he may be able to have anything made possible, or hope for his condition. Surely that is the point of their efforts. There is a stately home that has doubled as a palace in Leeds before.

I understand you want to use a substitution as of this comment but you started off with saying it should be held at a palace which is not a stately home. Unfortunately he has a very terrible disease, to the point where passing away is a mercy. Life is not fair.

Outside of knighthood or damehood, the CBE is the highest non knighthood or damehood honor an individual can receive followed by OBE then MBE. CBE stands for Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire.
Rob Burrow CBE was known as “the smallest player in the league” but certainly not the least.
Kevin Sinfield CBE was one of only 5 players to receive the Golden Boot as well as one of only two players to win three consecutive super league championships
