When brother in black reveals himself, that actor is a big deal in Korea. He was the lead in Mr. Sunshine.

Sang Woo was a savage to finish off Sae Byeok because she was already dying. The reason why he killed her was because he was so afraid that the majority, Gi-Hun and Sae Byeok will get together and say they quit because of her injury. Sang Woo could not risk that happening, especially when they were so closed to the end of the game. He wanted the money, so got rid of her.
SO SAD ON SO MANY LEVELS. RIP SAE BYEOK. 🙏🙏🙏

I think the age gap between the two brothers was intentional and supposed to be noticeably large since even the actors are 21 years apart lol
The actor of the Frontman (Lee Byung-hun) is super famous in Korea (literally everyone knows him) and speaks perfect English, that's probably why they chose him, he was in some Hollywood films as well
Funfact: The actor of the young cop (Wi ha-joon) even said that he was super nervous about acting with him since he is also a fan of him:
("When I knew I was going to act as senior actor Lee Byung Hun’s younger brother, I got so excited to the point that I kept on trembling until the day we met at the filming set.")
