Great video! For as big and tough as these fish look, your are right, they are very delicate if not handled properly. May I also suggest a good pair of wire cutters or snips to cut hooks if needed. Excellent job conveying proper preparation for safely handling and releasing tiger muskies!💪🎣
Thanks for valuable info. My brother is taking me out for tiger muskie. I guess a lake near me has quite a few muskies that were placed by game and fish to combat an explosion of goldfish that were released into the lake.
Awesome video boys!! Quick question about the handling of these fish. My lake just got stocked with a bunch of these and I have started targeting them. However, I keep seeing pictures and videos of some people holding these fish inside the gill plate by the jaw and others by the head/body. What's correct? I saw in your video you guys did both. Just curious and want to make sure I handle one correctly if I get one. Thanks.
Shout out Braxton!
There is a 50inch one in one of my local lakes and been trying to get him

Great video! They stock tiger muskies in the local Newton Reservoir and it's been my goal to catch one!
Very nice!

75Lb test? I was bass fishing two days ago and caught a 42” tiger on accident with 8Lb line 🤷♂️
Just a heads up that’s nothin to brag on… 8lb line and you light gear prolly stressed that fish to death if you released
@@sothrnhunter746 landed it in under two minutes so gfys and stfu
@@sothrnhunter746how so?
It exhausts the fish to death
@@sothrnhunter746 I hooked it 20’ from the dock and landed it in less than two minutes. Calm down.
Just a heads up there is a difference in muskies and tiger muskies, and the title 'fish of ten thousand casts' belongs to the muskie. Solid video
@@cleito001 In Utah. The tiger Muskie is all we got. So we try to make it sound every bit as cool as the ACTUAL Muskie 😅
Not a fish many people even know is in Utah.
Or bullock
