For his ability not always over come his obstacles, but to adapt them (he was beat a couple of times after all.) shows growth in my opinion.

Anyone notice the clip before Schwartz's mystic arte and how both Reala's seiyuu is the voice of Satsuki Kiryuin from Kill La Kill and Farah's seiyuu is the voice of Momiji from Ninja Gaiden?
Even if it did, it's not getting a US (or otherwise world wide) release. It'd be great if Bamco did port it and released it world wide as a download only game (as much as I normally despise those).

I think the biggest difference is not that he is truly a static character but that he is laid back and adapts rather than makes a big deal out of everything. He is one of the few characters in any video game capable of manning up and staying manned up enough to fight for what he believes in. If he did not>

While Kratos spoke with his action, Yuri and Jade can troll AND fight at the same time.
How is Yuri a boring static character? Because he isn't some shy blushing idiot that plagues games and animes as of late? It was refreshing to play a skillful, well rounded and logical character who was able to shoulder the burdens he brought upon himself like a man with out whining like lloyd or jude. Kratos was far more static, you knew he was a bad ass in the start and he stayed the same. Limiting information about himself and his organization as is predicted of set pieces.
First forgive me because i just telling u kratos is above yuri without explanation .. .Yuri for me is a boring and static character, . Kratos is more depth and better character interaction, He's doesn't say that he will save everyone and they will all live happily ever after. He takes a more realistic approach when he decides upon the best course of action. .don't get me wrong sir, I respected your choice but every man to his taste .. dont forget to buy Xillia, its day 1 for me LOL
Tales of Vesperia was BORING!!! I would rather have a remastered old Tales game over a new Vesperia. I bought the game when it came out, didn't finish it till like half way through last year, (it just sat on the shelves collecting dust). The only way I might even consider a new Vesperia is if it followed Flynn's story with his group.
