Most of us that use a dark room for our viewing experience don’t need speakers or a stand or even Google TV or any other operating system. it is exactly as you said, get rid of the stand get rid of the speakers only pay attention to the image settings and the specs that make this picture so beautiful. Many projectors from.Optoma or benq just can’t compete at this price point, especially with this kind of contrast. I really hope they introduce a pure home theater device. it will sell like crazy, especially if it is equipped with lens shift and Dolby vision support like the global versions. Outstanding review
Vidda HT as you describe would be excellent. If I could add my own additional feature for the HT version, 24fps native support. None of these lifestyle projectors seem to have a 24p "filmmaker" mode.
Nice detailed review, loved doodle animation :) How does it stand against C1P? 6 month Back I bought that and satisfied with the quality but yes I feel black is not much deep and brightness lacking. C2U base does not look appealing, unnecessary. even C1P inbuilt sound is sufficient as we don't expect something out of the world sound from portable projector. Wish if they had added Dolby Vision/Atmos.
The C2 Ultra will be my upgrade from Benq W1070. I do wish the stand was removable, though. I still have use for it, but eventually I will be ceiling mounting it back home. Hopefully, there's a way.

For instance, I have noticed that some viewers are more prone to fatigue under wide color gamut settings, while others are affected by high brightness. I believe both factors play a role. So, I suggest using a high color gamut and high brightness when you watch, but switching to Rec. 709 color gamut and lower, suitable brightness when your kids are watching. This should help reduce fatigue. From my own experience, sometimes I feel tired after just one hour, while other times I can watch for several hours without fatigue. As for the C2U, it can indeed achieve a FOFO contrast ratio of over 4000 when dynamic brightness is enabled. If you wear glasses and look straight on, it shouldn't be a big issue, though occasionally you may notice some chromatic aberration around white text at the edges of your lenses, which is a common issue with all tri-color laser projectors. Regarding the screen, if you're watching in a dark room, a white screen with no gain will work great. Thank you! I feel that no projector performs well in a room with natural daylight. The brighter the room, the worse the performance, as lighter-colored walls make the blacks appear lighter, giving the image a washed-out look. You can, of course, improve this with a gray screen, but the best setting for any projector is still a dark room.
The black levels of the C2U are far inferior to those of the XW5000; at maximum brightness, the C2U displays black at around 0.1 nits, while the XW5000 is at 0.008 nits. This is because the C2U uses DLP technology, whereas the XW5000 uses LCoS technology. However, the difference is not that noticeable because their ANSI contrast ratios (measured with black and white blocks displayed on the same screen) are quite similar, both around 150. The black levels of the C2U should be comparable to the 12000, but I don't have exact numbers since I haven't measured the 12000.

Sure, here’s your response translated into English: Glad you liked the video. Currently, the system doesn't support English. The input lag in game mode is about 10ms, definitely under 20ms. My TV has a 20ms lag, and when I use the C2U to play PS5, the lag is noticeably lower and more responsive. For a room with ambient light, I recommend using a gray screen, but avoid screens with gain or metallic screens, as they can negatively affect the perception of the triple-laser

In terms of brightness, especially HDR mode brightness, the C2U has a clear advantage. The C2U also has higher contrast at maximum brightness, while the RS10U has slightly higher contrast at brightness 6. However, the overall contrast difference is not significant, the main difference is in brightness. You can see this clearly in the test data in my video. The RS10U's strengths are its smooth operating system, good-looking design, and especially its eye protection mode. Because it mixes LED light sources with three-color lasers, the spectrum is more continuous, so it is more comfortable for the eyes to look at. This cannot be captured by the camera. If you have children at home and watch the projector frequently, this is something to consider. 看过LS11000w，epson会更耐看一些，镜头素质更好，毕竟价格差距在这。但其他方面三色激光优势比较大，看自己喜好选择

To use the auto keystone correction feature correctly, follow these steps: First, reset the projector to its default size and disable the keystone correction. Then, move the projector forward or backward or adjust the optical zoom until the image completely covers your screen, with some excess around the edges. After that, you can perform the auto keystone correction, and it should match your screen properly.

是的，soundbar的hdmi连接到投影的hdmi eArc口，声音会回传给soundbar。如果电脑有喇叭，在电脑上设置声音设备为电脑音箱就可以。

For my personal use, I would choose the C2U because it has a higher contrast ratio at maximum brightness and significantly higher brightness in HDR mode. It also has a wider color gamut, providing more flexibility. If I were choosing for my family, I would pick the RS10U, as it is more comfortable for the eyes in eye protection mode. Without a direct comparison, they wouldn't notice the slight differences.

Glad you liked the video. Currently, the system doesn't support English. The input lag in game mode is about 10ms, definitely under 20ms. My TV has a 20ms lag, and when I use the C2U to play PS5, the lag is noticeably lower and more responsive. For a room with ambient light, I recommend using a gray screen, but avoid screens with gain or metallic screens, as they can negatively affect the perception of the triple-laser

Haha, that's an interesting idea! I'm not sure if it would work properly. Although it's not a motorized gimbal, it does have a subwoofer, so there are cables connecting the base to the projector body. I'm not sure if there is a system monitoring mechanism in place.

Both of these projectors have their own strengths and weaknesses. In terms of brightness, especially HDR mode brightness, the C2U has a clear advantage. The C2U also has higher contrast at maximum brightness, while the RS10U has slightly higher contrast at brightness 6. However, the overall contrast difference is not significant, the main difference is in brightness. You can see this clearly in the test data in my video.
The RS10U's strengths are its smooth operating system, good-looking design, and especially its eye protection mode. Because it mixes LED light sources with three-color lasers, the spectrum is more continuous, so it is more comfortable for the eyes to look at. This cannot be captured by the camera. If you have children at home and watch the projector frequently, this is something to consider. The eye protection mode's color gamut is slightly smaller, but the colors are still vibrant because it is a DCI-P3 color gamut.
I don't think Dolby Vision is particularly important for projectors. This is because you can connect a Dolby Vision-enabled player to the projector to play Dolby Vision content. For example, when I play Dolby Vision with my Zidoo Z9X, the C2U displays it in HDR mode and the viewing experience is very good.
