As per the reports she made debut so early to support her mother and sister ( reports say Babita was taking care of them without help from RK family ) - unlike Kajol who waited for the right role after Bekhudi flopped ( and mind you Kajol looked horrible then ), Karisma didnt wait and signed all the films that came her way. Also lets not forget that Dharmendra signed her for Barsaat to be launched with Bobby but the film was taking too long to go on floors and she didnt want to wait so she left Barsaat and signed Prem Qiaidi. Yes t took her 5 years to get good roles but thats ok I guess - she proved her worth with dedication , hard work and passion - nothing came easy for her but she still made to the top. Yes she acted under KUKU KOHALI, DAVID DAWAAN, DHARMESH DARSHAN, and became STAR, after that she got offered from YRF for DIL TOH PAGAAL HAI..She never got any role from RK banner..Actually she worked very hard to secure her existence in BOLLYWOOD that time where female actors like Madhuri, Sri Devi, Juhi, Kajol, Manisha, TABU, Urmila , Raveena, Sonali, Shilpa all were active in that time, it was very challenging and She was the female actor who acted maximum hits during the decade compared to other tallent female actors. Initially she was not favourite list..But once I visited Mumbai where my uncle used to work in BOLLYWOOD in technical department he told me in this industry only 4 stars are very punctual and very hard worker during shoot, they are BIG B, SRI DEVI, MADHURI AND KARISHMA. These 4 actors are very hard workers they reached the set 2 hours early than scheduled time and kept themselves ready and rehearsed for the scene. That's why they achieved their goal.
