We are saved because He gave His life for us and we trust Him alone for salvation. Saving repentance is realizing that you are a sinner deserving of God's just punishment in Hell and turn (repent) from whatever you trusted in before, if indeed you trusted in anything; to trusting in the person and finished work of Christ "alone" for salvation. By all means go ahead and give your life to Christ out of love and gratitude for the free gift for salvation. That's for service, not salvation. Heb 9:22- And according to the law almost all things are purified with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no remission. Without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness. Its hard to think that all these great crusades are over. We attended many Billy Graham crusades over the years and often sang in the choir. From the 1950's til the 80s' Billy preached the same message, and countless people were saved and he was always the same. Now Bro. Graham is gone to heaven - to his reward. Regarding the question of why some gave a thumbs down, here is the answer. For some, hearing Mr. Graham's words results in a deep feeling that "I have heard the truth" and these will give a thumbs up. But for those who give a thumbs down, they have no such experience, no deep something inside saying "I have heard the truth." The Holy Spirit speaks inside people to know what is truth. If the Holy Spirit is not there, then truth will not have any confirmation, and the person lives in a kind of blindness and delusion of his/her own. What is a delusion? All over America, some believe an explosion of matter and energy resulted in an orderly universe (try exploding anything and getting order). Some believe a living cell resulted from an ideal combination of ingredients (okay then, make me one single living cell---feel free to use existing ingredients so you don't waste time creating your own ingredients out of nothing). Okay never mind, you cannot make even one single cell, so just take an amoeba, and lets see you make it mutate to anything other than a single celled organism. Can't do that either? What if you invoke billions and billions of years? Anything can happen (it's magic)? Fortunate mutations resulted in more and more complexity instead of death? Eventually even males and females evolved simultaneously so they could mate ? Gee it's a good thing that was simultaneous huh? Anyway the answer is that if you have no Holy Spirit, you just can't understand what Mr. Graham is saying, and you're subject to every imaginary idea that cannot be proved, but you think it can, and you cannot see that God is there.
I was under ten when I saw Billy Graham and it was very moving watching everyone watching everyone walk down to the stage and I definitely asked my dad if I could go.

So sad we dont have a Billy Graham here in Nov 2021. He was truly a man of God! Thank God that we have youtube to listen to him over and over! I rededicated my life to Christ at the beginning of the year listening to him "Who is Jesus" I had 2 sons pass away and my heart became very hard. It took years for me to accept Jesus Christ back in my life if your heart has harden please invite Jesus back in your heart an then start living for Jesus God bless you all in Jesus name. Amen

crusades over the years and often sang in the choir. From the 1950's til the 80s' Billy
preached the same message, and countless people were saved and he was always

Regarding the question of why some gave a thumbs down, here is the answer. For some, hearing Mr. Graham's words results in a deep feeling that "I have heard the truth" and these will give a thumbs up. But for those who give a thumbs down, they have no such experience, no deep something inside saying "I have heard the truth." The Holy Spirit speaks inside people to know what is truth. If the Holy Spirit is not there, then truth will not have any confirmation, and the person lives in a kind of blindness and delusion of his/her own. What is a delusion? All over America, some believe an explosion of matter and energy resulted in an orderly universe (try exploding anything and getting order). Some believe a living cell resulted from an ideal combination of ingredients (okay then, make me one single living cell---feel free to use existing ingredients so you don't waste time creating your own ingredients out of nothing). Okay never mind, you cannot make even one single cell, so just take an amoeba, and lets see you make it mutate to anything other than a single celled organism. Can't do that either? What if you invoke billions and billions of years? Anything can happen (it's magic)? Fortunate mutations resulted in more and more complexity instead of death? Eventually even males and females evolved simultaneously so they could mate ? Gee it's a good thing that was simultaneous huh? Anyway the answer is that if you have no Holy Spirit, you just can't understand what Mr. Graham is saying, and you're subject to every imaginary idea that cannot be proved, but you think it can, and you cannot see that God is there.
This is my first time to listen to Billy Graham sermon i can now see the light of God.May God keep your soul save till we all meet in heaven.
